"This is a large hotel and there did seem to be a couple of large groups staying there but this did not detract from our experience. Nice rooms with everything you could need, water readily provided. The pool is ok but the selling point for it is the fantastic view of Lions Rock. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the buffet had a good selection of food to suit all palates. Breakfast was excellent, you can choose Sri Lankan or more western options. Plenty of choice. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We accidentally found this fabulous hotel due to sudden change of our vacation plan. Hotel is located in very calm quiet area within 10 km from Sigiriya local ticketing office. We had an unexpectedly wonderful time in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and supportive. Hotel has two well maintained pools and beautiful restaurant. Room and the whole hotel was very clean. Foods are so delicious as well. Highly recommend for couples or anyone would like to spend true relax time before or after climbing the Sigiriya rock. This place deserves more than five stars. I encourage more locals to explore these beautiful places around the country."

"Had a wonderful time here! The rooms and premises are nothing fancy but it is exactly what you need in terms of a clean room a friendly owner. A lovely breakfast is served in the morning and it backs on to land where wildlife tend to run around freely (my favourite were the peacocks). The owner is very lovely and helpful and it was absolute pleasure to meet him. All in all, would highly recommend!"

"Beautiful place! It’s a little bit secluded which is great as it’s not noisy but you can still get to the main activities very easily. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool is such a treat when it’s a hot day out. The staff were all very helpful, pleasant, and attentive. The front desk helped us book a tour during our stay for the same day as we had a bit of time leftover and no plans. The breakfast buffet was excellent- there was a very friendly lady cooking the egg hoppers right at the buffet area everyday so they were very fresh. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough."

Only negative was the fact we were staying in low season so there was only two other sets of guests but for some reason the hotel put us all next to each other so you could literally hear your neighbours every move. Aside from that it was an amazong place to stay"
