Cute rooms/good location

The newly renovated Inn featured charming rooms. We stayed in one of the smaller accommodations which did not include a kitchenette but was ideal for our short visit. The room included a refrigerator and coffee so we brought our own food and were able to grill hamburgers in the pavilion across from our room. Its proximity to Lake Roberts added to the convenience. location very peaceful.

Clean, well appointed, had everything I needed. I will go back because it is nestled in the Gila National Forest, has hiking, biking, kayaking, and I don't fish, but some people do. It is super, love the people that run it too.

Lovely escape into the woods

Very happy with our stay at this motel. I actually stayed here over 20 years ago and thought we'd give it a try now. The new owners have really done a greatt job providing a quiet, clean room with thoughtful accomodations. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly.

Read the pre-arrival communications.Easy access, simple and practical accommodations. Cozy room, with small refrigerator, coffee maker. Outdoor covered patio area across the parking lot to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It was perfect for us to rest, relax and on an off day, we had alot of privacy.

Charming and clean room!

Beautiful area and the motel was just what we needed on our trip. The room was clean and the common area was great for cooking and socializing. I would bring your own plates, utensils, etc as that was the one thing that didn't come with the room. Otherwise, it was perfect for our stay.

Gila Cliff Dwellings visit

We had a fantastic stay at LRM! It was the perfect spot. Although the motel was to capacity, the ambient noise was minimal, and all guests were respectful leading to a delightful and peaceful stay! The room was clean and very comfortable. The bonus is the location! It took us 1/2 hr to go to the GICL, and we were the first on the trail!

July Stay

We have been coming to Lake Roberts for several years during in late July weekends. The fans are a great addition and were able to keep the room cool. The Starlink connection is a great help to stay in touch. An AC may be a good addition for the heat we had experienced in the past or a mobile room AC availability? I liked the common area where you provided some information about the area!

Everything was clean and neat. Attractive furniture. I appreciated the little extra towels and dish supplies even though it wasn't a room with a kitchen. We were glad there was the store. The sitting area outside is very comfortable. I hope we have an occasion to visit again.

Excited to see the hotel open again!!!

We are so excited to see this little place open again. It's was by pure luck we went online and discovered the hotel was under new ownership. We immediately booked for our weekend fishing trip. Our room was cozy and warm when we arrived. Our room was stocked with the items described in the room description. The patio and outside area was definitely the highlight of the stay. We cooked fresh fish and steak on the provided grille and enjoyed the smell of the fire pit as another family had made a fire. Perfect little mountain getaway. We're excited to bring friends along next time😁😁😁

Perfect Location for Gila NM with a Western Lodge Theme

The Lake Roberts Motel is in the perfect location to visit the Gila Wilderness area. I felt fortunate to find a motel so close to the NM and did not expect it to be perfect. It is clean and has the amenities expected of a regular motel - clean towels, sheets, and bathroom. The mattress was uncomfortable for me, but I have back problems and expected as much in such a remote location. The rooms are decorated in a western lodge theme. The outsidegazebo with firetables are wonderful to sit around after a day of hiking and birding in the Park and also have access to grills for cooking. Our room had a problem with the gas fireplace heating. It seems it was known but the new owners did not have time to fix before our arrival. It was in the 20's at night so hopefully, it will be fixed soon. The second night we were there, the office gave us a small electric heater which helped. Our traveling companions in room 2 did not have a problem with their heating. We used room 2 as a base since it had a kitchen and the heating was working good. I was a bit dissapointed that there was so much outside lighting. It really washed out the stars at night. The campground and lake park were only a couple miles away, and the stars may have been better there, but we we were having some wine did not want to drive.
