"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This was by far the best place I've ever stayed. I chose this house for a girls weekend for myself and a few friends. The house was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Our host, Art, has the home stocked with everything you could ever need (or forget at home). He responds quickly and is so friendly and accommodating! We loved the open layout of the downstairs so we could all chat and laugh no matter where we were. Even though we couldn't use the firepit due to the dry weather, it had plenty of seating around it and enough wood for days of burning!My friends and I would highly recommend staying at Baby Chocorua and will definitely be back!!!"

"We enjoyed a week stay at John’s property for our honeymoon. It had everything we needed and even sitting by the fire just topped it off. The ability to buy firewood from many places close by made it very convenient.We had trouble with the TV and the Internet, but John was very quick to fix the problem and we were very pleased."

"Great home with a delightful covered porch sitting in a quiet neighborhood. The home was just as the photos show and lots of beds for families. We only had 3 people, was more than enough room. I would absolutely stay here again if given the chance.... and I know that will happen as we frequent the area a few times a year."

"Regret: we only booked 3 nights. 4 would have been the sweet spot. Definitely check out the Ossipee Pine Barrens and the Monolithic Boulder, two very local but quite unique places. The lake is clean, the little beach as advertised, the shed is filled with water toys: beach chairs, noodles, fishing rods, a big inflatable raft. Heaven for young kids. This is a GREAT family rental.The house was clean, comfortable and spacious as described. There were some discrepancies between the rules and procedures as stated in the Vrbo listing vs. the documents we signed through Select Real Estate (trash disposal, linens) so just go with the Vrbo listing. I didn't like the sheets (stuffy synthetic, some stains on a pillowcase with no extra cases) but this is a cottage after all, not a hotel suite. The home had more of a vibe than I am used to that the family who owns the place had just vacated so we could stay. The house was fully stocked except for dish towels and small towels. Plenty of beach and bath towels. "

"Wonderful house. We did a lot of cooking and everything you needed was at your fingertips. The location worked out great for our adventures. Saco river for tubing, North Conway, Mount Cranmore coaster all 20 to 30 minutes away. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The game room was a huge hit for the kids. "
