Great Time at the Pinions for the Holidays!
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying for 10 days at the Pinions for the Holidays. Beautiful setting, lots of space, plenty of comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, 4 bathrooms! Sarah and Randy were very helpful and available for any questions we had. Everything was perfect!

Great place to stay!
10 of us as family members stayed in this lovely home over a long weekend. We especially liked the the patio area with the hot tub and the smaller deck on the other side of the home. Both were continually occupied due to the spectacular views! The home is very comfy and has everything that you might need. My entire family said this location and home has been the most relaxing of any trips that we have taken. Thanks Sarah for being such a lovely host! Gale : )

Amazing property
We had the most amazing stay. Fantastic location with the most incredible views. Easy access to Copper, Breckenridge even Vail was only 30 mins away. Lovely comfortable family home with everything you need for a great holiday. The ping pong table was a hit! Fabulous! Owners were lovely and always in hand to help. A must stay! We will be back!

5 Stars Two Years in a Row!
This is our groups second time booking this house. I didn't think it could get better from the last year, but it did. Sarah and Randy are great host that communicate well, and keep this property in top shape. Our group had 10 guest, and not once did we feel cramped in this large house. Everyone's favorite part of the house, is of course the hot tub after a long day of skiing! If you are looking for GREAT views, property owners, communication, and location, this is the place to book.

Beautiful Home with all the amenities to have a safe and comfortable stay. Great views of the city below and the Mountains in the distance. Our Host was very informative and answered all our questions which helped out greatly! Would stay here again on the next trip to the Mountains of Colorado!

Great location, Maintenance needed
Check in and out process was very smooth. Location was outstanding, saw and heard wildlife every night. Owners let us add another night after we reserved and were great to work with. However, the house needs plenty of maintenance. There was a whole in the screen door, patio lights in back didn’t work, an outlet was not working in the kitchen, and one of the washers had a substance in it that caused us to not use it. Again, great communication but for the price, maintenance needed.

Very nice and comfortable
The house was exactly as pictured. Also clean and comfortable. The views are nice, especially from the hot tub. The kids really enjoyed the wii system and the ping pong/pool table in the lower level. Cooking was easy in the kitchen. And the two washer/dryers were very helpful. The beds and furniture were very comfortable too. Overall, a great house to spend time while in the area.

Gorgeous home/town
The house was perfect size with great views. There’s a cute little pond in Park where the kids caught trout about two minute drive from the house and a trail about four minute drive from the house where we saw a moose and it’s baby. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful Home
Randy and Sarah’s beautiful home in Silverthorne was exactly what we were hoping for when we booked it. It was exceptionally clean, beautiful and spacious. The house has everything we needed at our fingertips. Our stay was for relaxation and connecting with family. This house was the perfect spot for that. Would highly recommend and hope to get back to Eagles Nest and beautiful Silverthorne someday. Thank you Sarah and Randy!

I would book again.
I'm glad we booked here. It was able to fit our group of 8 adults comfortably. It's a huge space and you never feel congested trying to move throughout the house. I'm confident 11 adults would be just fine in this house. We spent our days at Copper Mountain Skiing, so the Hot Tub and spectacular views where a fantastic way to end the evening. There are some things to consider when you book: 1) The driveway is steep for winter conditions. You will need an AWD vehicle, or you'll end up like us with 8 guys trying to push a front-wheel drive mini-van up the hill. We did a healthy amount of shoveling and ice chipping on the driveway to make sure we didn't have to do that the rest of the trip. 2) Remember that you are renting a house, not a condo. You may be asked to bring the trash bin to the front of the driveway if your trip crosses through trash day. 3) The dining room table has an iron light fixture above it. Watch your head! I think everyone in our group bumped their heads at least once while getting up from the table.

This home was great for a Thanksgiving vacation getaway! Rustic mountains feel close to everything one needs! Sarah was very accommodating for the holiday and went out of her way to make sure we were able to cook a meal for all of us! Would definitely stay again.

We were spending the weekend skiing at Loveland. The house was lovely - we love the pool/air hockey table and the hot tub. House is close to the rest of Silverthorne and the skiways. We would love to stay again when in the area. Owner was super communicative and helpful.

September wedding week visit
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this home as we were attending the wedding of a family friend . The layout was perfect for three couples , and the upstairs office /loft was great for those needing to work . The hot tub and deck area was amazing ! The communication with the seller was great ! We loved every minute , and the view from the upstairs deck was awesome ! We definitely would stay here again, and hope to return !! The location within the community was spectacular, and the neighborhood walk was as pretty as any of the trails we went on . You can also walk to the adjacent neighborhood next door and hike Willowbrook Trail . Great location close to town and shopping . Loved every bit of it !!

Absolutely perfect
Perfect location within a secluded neighborhood, providing privacy . Close to all of the amenities of town without any traffic issues to deal with . Property owners could not have been nicer and were immediately responsive to any questions. Their directions and instructions for check in and check out were very clear and helpful. The house was perfect for our needs and stay . My family would be disappointed to stay anywhere else now that we have experienced the Pinions .

Well located for family fun
Our family enjoyed a long stay in this well located property. Sarah was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. Our children and grandchildren made good use of the hot tub and the air hockey table when at the house. Frisco, Breck, Keystone and Copper Mountain were all nearby for fun outside summer biking, hiking, all with beautiful views.

We didn't plan on Silverthorne but due to some last minute changes we landed at the Eagles Nest. Very suitable for large groups. Very close to Breckenridge - which was a fun day. The town of Sliverthorne has beautiful views. Great restaurants, and lots of trails for walking or running. The house is located in a subdivision but the way it is set, it feels very private. We saw a momma coyote and her cub right outside our front door. We also say deer. The patio in back is lovely and the trees are amazing! This place is a hidden treasure.

Just wonderful.....
The property was lovely, clean, and SO conveniently located and easy to get to. The owner/host was very detailed regarding everything about her house, as well as followed up quickly when we had any questions, both before our trip and during. The views are splendid. The outside areas, both on the main floor balcony and the ground floor outdoor area with the hot tub just added to our enjoyment of the property. I will also add that the beds, at least in the rooms we did occupy, were VERY comfortable, probably the most restful of any of the many beds we have slept on during any of our VRBO stays over the years! If I were to offer any constructive suggestions that might make future stays there even more enjoyable, I would say to install a full-length mirror in a couple of places in the bedrooms or baths, if possible, since most of us like to know what our full bodies look like before going out, haha. I would also suggest, and I believe the Host already mentioned doing so herself, that she include in her VRBO description of the house that sometimes, when it's windy outside, some tree branches will scrape the metal roof over a couple of the bedrooms, so you might hear some "strange noises", but will now know what causes them. :) The Host's suggestion of activities and restaurant was also on the money. Sauce On The Blue was YUMMY, and it is situated right on a little river, so the outdoor seating was very nice. We are very happy that we chose this house and this city to visit this time around! Relaxing Retreat
Cozy log cabin feel with all of the amenities you'd expect. It had snowed before we arrived, but the drive was plowed, and someone showed up to shovel the remaining snow. Quiet neighborhood with sidewalks, a 5 min drive to Target and shopping, and the house is just north of ski resorts, but 10 minutes off of I70. The kitchen was well stocked with crock pot, instapot, utensils and everything you'd need. The downstairs has a pool, air hockey table and a bar. The cable and wifi were fine. The 4 person hot tub made a relaxing close to some great days. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains was excellent from most anywhere in the house - especially the hot tub and deck. The beds were soft and comfortable, and most rooms had both fans and humidifers - well needed for us southerners not used to the dry air. You could even get a car in the garage to keep the snow off if needed! There are some sleds in the garage - and the kids had a blast sledding the hills around the neighborhood while you walked around trying to identify the tracks in the snow from the numerous animals walking around - deer, rabbits, and squirrels, turkeys and all sorts of birds. The house was great - you will love it if you stay here! And with Upstairs and downstairs - larger parties can split up and watch their own shows and spread out the kids.

Perfect location and beautiful cabin with an incredible view
As a group, we had high expectations of the cabin when viewing the listing. After the stay, we all agreed that the cabin exceeded our expectations. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. And the views from the cabin were simply incredible. Also all of the top ski resorts such as Keystone and Copper Mountain were within 15 min drives from the cabin and shopping was within 5 mins away. Highly recommend this cabin

We rented the house for a long weekend with friends. We hiked during the day and relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. House has everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away. We kept saying we’d all love to bring our kids back because the home would be so amazing for kids as well. Instructions were very easy to follow on how to work things in the house. The location is perfect. You feel away from it all- but shops and stores are just a few short minutes away. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Sarah, the owner, was very fast to respond to any questions. The unit has a very light portable air conditioner to cool a room if the day is a little hot for you. The house was awesome, very clean, Wi-Fi was great my daughters were able to do their remote school work with no issues. Hot tub was clean, hot and ready from the moment we got there. This cabin is in a great location, paved roads all the way to garage and house. This cabin was within 15 to 20 minutes north of Breckenridge allowing us to drive over and visit there as well. The owner even left us a binder with recommended activities and places to go to help gives us ideas. I only asked what was an idea or two of things she knew in the area and she put together a binder for us. Outstanding service, and all our communications even before booking and after we're answered within a few minutes. Overall was our best experience with cabin rentals we have had yet, we will absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience Sarah.

This was a great rental. It had most everything you would need to stay an extended time, and also very good proximity to lots of activities. Nice to have a grill, hot tub, and beautiful view from the deck and living areas. Also great communication with owner when we had questions prior to our trip!

Great property in the Rockies!
The location of this property is wonderful. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky mountains, there are some wonderful vistas. The cabin is just a short distance from the town of Silverthorne, so it is convenient to take a quick jog into town to grab supplies. But it is also in a quiet neighborhood. We didn't have any problems with noise, but I fear we may have made a lot of our own, having 5 boys under the age of 8 with us! The cabin was great. It was clean and had pretty much all the amenities we could ask for. Spacious enough for 12 of us. We really enjoyed the layout - a finished basement, main level and loft, which served all of our needs well. The only concern we had was the concrete steps leading to the hot tub were crumbling, but the owner had addressed this before our stay. And there were a lightbulb or two out, but that wasn't a big deal. Overall it was a great stay! Sarah was an excellent host and responded quickly to my messages.

Perfect Location & Great Space For Our Group
With what is going on in the world, we needed an escape. The Pinions was the place to do it. It's quiet, relaxing and spacious. We were minutes from Dillon Reservoir (spent an afternoon on a boat). We took a day and hiked to the waterfall at Blue Lakes and then had a late lunch in Breck. Our final day was spent in Glenwood Springs at the hot springs. There is so much to see and do in this area; all within a short drive. Sarah was a doll to work with and answered all questions and concerns immediately. We will definitely be back.
