Simmons Island Beach

We appreciated some of the updates in the rooms however they still smell very musty. We switched to a second room that still smelled musty, and, in fact, the beds were not as comfortable as the first room. I suppose you stay there if you don’t want to pay Grand Geneva prices. The adults only pool was a real treat! Stake out your lounge chair early! The front desk staff, two people, did not do a very good job at passing my concerns along about the first room. The manager, I think her name was Jesse, was extremely apologetic and wanted to help us out. She kindly switched our room, but in an old hotel, that didn’t really solve our problem.

Nice hotel and casino, free shuttle to game with bet. Modern fast elevators. Only complaints were air in the room blowing on both beds, very cold and in the way when trying to sleep or watch tv and refreshment station broke during our stay.
