"We had a great stay at Kate's. The location is unbelievable. Right on the ocean path. You can get to the mall in Courtenay through it, so I walked a few times with my son to Cobb's. The other way leads to a famous coffee shop, a bit on the expensive side, but the pastries are to die for. Coffee could be amazing, but I wouldn't know. I spent almost my entire time when we weren't away outside, staring at the water and the herons. Lots of space outside where you can find shade and a comfy chair or table.Whatever we needed we just had to ask. Kate even washed and folded our laundry!"
"It was our second time staying here. It's a wonderful, peaceful setting with a beautiful trail system literally next door. Loved sitting out on the porch listening to the crickets while the dog enjoyed the fully fenced yard. Wonderful kitchen with all the tools and appliances you could ask for. If we visit Vancouver Island again, this is where we'll stay. "
