"The cabin is small but has everything you need. Our only complaint was the ROCK HARD bed. We checked out 2 days early due to being unable to sleep but the host refunded our 2 nights and was extremely gracious. If bed was replaced we would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Old Bear Creek. The home was clean and so much room. We enjoyed having multiple tables .. we played many games of dominos and other games. The pool was wonderful! Then at night we hung out on the patio and watched the Perseid meteor showers! We hope to return next year!"

"The cabin is great and has everything needed for a short or long stay including utensils, plates pans..etc..The room is great and AC works very well. My only downside which isnt a knock to property is the bed, im a big boy and prefer king size beds, i think the cabin has a full size, its good and comfy for 1 person IMO. I would stay again and plan to soon. We snapped this photo on 2nd day of great sunset over Lake Ouachita."

"This place was an absolute gem! Clean as a whistle, roomy enough to cartwheel through (not that we tried… okay, maybe we did), and stocked like the host was expecting royalty.They truly thought of everything—from rock hounding gear to a blow-up kayak, this spot is basically a choose-your-own-adventure vacation. You’d have to put in real effort to not have fun here. We even found ourselves saying, “Wait, they have THAT too?!”The hot tub on the back porch? Chef’s kiss. We did wish for a couple of chairs out there… but then we just slid into the hot tub and said, “Never mind!” The only bummer was that the dryer didn’t work, but honestly, with views like that, laundry felt illegal anyway. We just stood there, staring at the mountains like we were in a commercial for inner peace.Comfy beds? Check. Extra pillows and blankets? Check. Adorable themed rooms? Check! Lightning bugs at night? Magical. You will feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie, but with better snacks.Heads up: we did need 4WD to get up the driveway thanks to some recent rain, but hey—what’s a mountain getaway without a little off-roading adventure?Already dreaming of our next trip back. Book it before we do. "
