"Very convenient to historic Cuenca via tranvia (inexpensive electric cable car) and only a 2 block walk to a very good. large grocery store where there are also a few casual eating, pharmacy, clothing, etc shops. A walk into town is only 15-20 minutes for a good walker.2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dining and desk/internet area. "I stayed with my family and we quite enjoy our stay. Very nice location in Cuenca historic center juste beside the cathedral and a nice bistro down the road. The breakfast was excellent and an impeccable service. Highly recommend."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with espectacular panoramic view through cristal clear glass windows from the presidencial suite six floor. The bathroom was super large and beautifully decorated with brand new shower and white clean towels and bathroom amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet and dinner were delicious offering a variety of excellent food. The location was perfect, within walking distance from Centro Histórico, new and old cathedrals, parque Calderon, Ruinas de Pumapungo, Puente Roto, Barranco, Escalinatas, Río Tomebamba, Planetario, Turi and brand new Mall del Alto with outstanding panoramic view. I strongly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel feels like a real mansion with classic furnitures. Room was large and very clean. Location can’t be better, surrounded by so many restaurants and cafes, it’s hard to count. Definitely try Goza Restaurant/Bar, located 6 minutes from the hotel. STAFF: hands down staff is the biggest asset at the hotel, they are kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Big shoutouts go Adrian and specially Cristina. She was patient and reorganized my detailed itinerary to be more time efficient :)"
