"This location is absolutely the best. You are right in the middle of everything you want to see in Sintra. The staff was amazing!! Super helpful and honest. Our room was beautiful with a balcony view you will swoon over. I will say the bed was too tough for me but my husband loved it. It’s not enough to complain either way. The hotel also helped book our transportation from Lisbon, so that was easy and efficient. Highly, highly suggest staying here. It’s nice to have a bed (and a bar) close after walking all those Sintra hills."

"This place is the oldest hotel in Portugal. They said Lord Byram stayed here a lot. It was beautiful and great views out my balcony. Breakfast was wonderful and it is so convenient walking right there to the Queen’s Palace."
