"Having staued at this hotel multiple times of the year duri g various seasons, my wife and I have been always very satisfied with all the amenities in the room and in the facility itself. Cooking facilities are excellent to be able to sray in the room over a long term. Laundry facilities are excellent. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Location is excellent and within a few minutes if dining and shopping faclities.Views from upper floors are amazing."

"The radiator heat was automatically set WAY too warm for the first 5 days, then was OK. We only used the fireplace once when the radiator heat had been off too long, and it warmed things right up. There was no heat control in the room, and it's such a pain to get a msg to the host, that we didn't bother. Not happy at all that the only way to contact the host is via VRBO, and talking with an East Indian whose English is hard to understand. Probably our last stay via VRBO! The waterfront view was great, enjoyed watching the whales and eagles. But...the only main, high-speed hwy thru Sitka was less than 50 feet from the entrance and the LOUD hwy noise from 6 am to 8 pm was terrible, even with the windows closed (which we had to have open the 1st few days to cool down the room)."

"It was tough to park because of the mounds of snow, but the owner did his best. I felt safe and secure in my room and parking lot. The restaurant food was good but I didn’t appreciate one well-dressed young folx table that got very drunk, yelled and screamed their excitement and disagreements about people, and carried on for over 30 minutes with no intervention by management or wait staff to lower their voices so the rest of us could eat with getting headaches. I actually didn’t even finish my meal because they were so loud. One of the waiters found them amusing. I didn’t go back for dinner. Management was extraordinary and I appreciated their efforts for comfort and local information. "

"The place was amazing. We were able to see whales, eagles, and tons of wildlife right outside the windows. The stay was super comfy, if we're ever in Sitka, we're going to try and stay here. "

"The place was fine. There was too much snow to get in the first night but Nolen had the plow come the next morning and took care of it. Directions for the wood stove and flue would be helpful. Other than that, it was great."

"Cozy space with plenty of room for our family of four. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. We appreciate the privacy blinds even though there was limited traffic in this area. Laundry, slop sink, and half bath were features we didn't know we needed and were happy to have. Would definitely stay here again."

"The facility started by acknowledging that they charge a resort fee only to raise the cost up outside of Expedia. Then three days I did not even see housekeeping in the halls. I was told they haven’t been showing up. Maintenance came in made a mess in the bathroom for the guest to clean up and the breakfast was microwave breakfast sandwiches sold separately coffee was never available although there was a pot "
