"Located about a pleasant 25 minute walk from town, the hotel is in a small strip mall off one of the main roads. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. When we arrived in town, it was pouring rain and we had difficulty getting a taxi or Uber. Called the hotel and a couple of staff came to pick us up in town. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our two nights at this inn."

"Fantastic stay! Would highly recommend this hotel. Laundry room and gym available to guests. Very easy to use. In the morning, the hotel puts out a nice coffee and tea service, but it's also across the street from a fantastic coffee shop, if you're looking for more options and a full breakfast. Very conviently located, and the staff is super awesome."

"There was basically no breakfast tho it was advertised as offering breakfast. There were some things available - very limited and you had to pay for them. The rooms were clean but extremely small for the price. The staff was very helpful. The TV in the lobby was set to Trump giving a speech, which is their right and, perhaps we should all sit and watch our president when he speaks publicly, but given the current divided country, probably made some people very uncomfortable. Good location in Sitka, close to the cruise lines’ meeting area. Good museums in Sitka."

"Room was clean and check in was fine. No coffee or cups in the room. Hot cold switched in bathroom sink and the tub filled with water while showering. Seems to be going backwards as I’ve stayed here multiple times. The Expedia site says all fees covered in the price, that is not the case. Was charged a fee on check in. Had to add a night on top of the 4 days I was there and was charged 70.00 over the Expedia price… hope the new owners get it together."

Raven's Roost- Cedar A-Frame Cabin Directly On The Ocean.

"First off, the location, and the view, is what you're paying for: it's fantastic. The house, however, is a bit funky which you should know. There is a tenant who lives below you, which is not in the listing. When I brought this up to the owner I got no response. If you're used to central heating, this house has electric baseboard heaters, two of them, in the living area and portable heaters upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom. As noted in the listing, the stairs to the upstairs loft, not a bedroom with a door, are very steep and slippery, too. There are no curtains for the loft which can be a problem in the land of sunlight. The curtains downstairs were excellent. There's a fire pit on the beach that we didn't use due to the rain but it would have been a nice addition. The bed upstairs is very soft, the bed downstairs is firm and good. Both beds are squeaky due to the frames. The kitchen worked well and I appreciated that it was well stocked."

"The property was exactly as described. The view from the living room was awesome. It was really nice having the carport to park under as it rained every day we were there. The area the apartment is in is nice and quiet and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Sitka."
