Christmas in Skaneateles 2024

Great house and location a few miles from Skaneateles. Amenities and games were a plus. Enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

Great spot for friends and family

Really awesome layout. Several full bathrooms is a major plus!!! Big beds, temp control in each room is great! Lots of space, fun area downstairs to play games. Fire pit is great for a night cap and s’mores. Area is very nice and downtown is just 10 mins away. We had a great time here!

Beautiful & and amazing host!

We loved absolutely loved the house, some of our favorite features were the heated floors and the showers with heated towel racks! The game room was an absolute blast, we played a few games of pool. The house is open and modern. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

Perfect spot

This place is wonderful to host a get together. Decorated beautifully, three full bathrooms is amazing. Lowest level had an array of games that kept us entertained all night. Loved the individual temp control for our guests from AZ who may have been a lot colder than us NY’ers. Fire pit was a great touch. Hamza was very accommodating and was great to work with. Absolutely recommend!

This home was exactly as pictured, and the host was absolutely fantastic. I took a girls trip with five of my friends, and we chose this property after looking at many others. It was definitely the right choice for us. The home was extremely clean and comfortable and had every amenity that we could have wished for.. Our host was absolutely fantastic and communicated with us on a regular basis before our stay. There was nothing he did not provide for us, including his time and attention. I would highly recommend this property and this host as well.

Spacious open floor plan designed for fun

This newly renovated home is clean, light, open and inviting with several places to gather for socializing, a fun game room on the lower level and an inviting firepit surrounded by numerous chairs. We enjoyed s’mores one evening and relaxed mornings in the main living area. We lucked out on the weather and never spent time in the mid level TV room but it provided a work space for one of our group. Great place near the lovely village of Skaneateles, across from beautiful Skaneateles Lake. It’s not lakefront but we were relatives with lakefront property so it was perfect for us.

Unclean and Wasps

After we had booked the place, we saw a review about the bug infestation and uncleanliness of the property. We reached out to the host, concerned since we were traveling with kids, and he assured us that the place is deep cleaned. Unfortunately, we found that was not the case. We found towels with pus and hair on them, the carpet had crumbs, and four dead hornets in the bedroom. Our first night there, one of the rooms had a big hornet flying around and the house had several wasps. We couldn't sleep in that room for fear of being stung. Our weekend stay there, we were without one room and sleeping in difficult conditions. We notified the host about a possible wasp nest or opening near that room. The host was generally quick to respond, he tried to get a bug exterminator for the wasps but couldn't because it was memorial weekend, and he also allowed us a couple hours late check out, which was nice. However, when we communicated about the uncleanliness and the difficulties we faced and requested a partial refund for the dirtiness and the room we couldn't use, communication was ceased and we didn't hear back. Otherwise, the house is located in a pretty neighborhood in the Finger Lakes area. Baby cot and air mattresses are available.

It's a very comfortable house. We had adequate facilities for our large group. It's conveniently located to town and all the other facilities the Finger Lakes has to offer. It helped that we had beautiful weather but it was a great choice to stay.

Perfect girls weekend

We rented the house for a relaxing bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The house was well stocked and located a short distance from downtown Skan. Would definitely rebook in the future!

On the website this probably looks amazing when you get there you see that the art of photography creates illusion. Toilets were covered in sanitized tape yet fecal matter stains were present. Dead buns in the light fixture of the showers, hair on the sheets, cobwebs everywhere! Definitely disappointed, especially considering it was 850 for the night and I wasn't even there for 11 hours.

2025 Bachlorette Weekend

The home was very nice, spacious, and included a fun game room. We did provide feedback to the owner regarding some concerns, including the temperature of the house and kitchen appliances not working to their best ability, which i believe will be addressed quickly. Overall, I would return again with my friends!

Christmas Getaway W/ Family & Friends

We spent Christmas with our daughter and son-in-law and our first grandchild along with our son-in-law's family. The house was perfect. There was plenty of space for the eight of us. The house is conveniently located to downtown Skaneateles and an easy 40 minute drive to Greek Peak.
