"We had a pleasant two-night stay at this classic stone house. The beautiful renovations are mostly complete and very well done. There are expansive patios to enjoy the village and mountain views, though the yard is still wild. The kitchen is generally well equipped. We found the host very friendly and responsive, and provided directions to find and access the place when prompted. Unfortunately the Internet was not available throughout our stay. "From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, our experience was absolutely exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing attentive, friendly, and truly elite service every step of the way. Every interaction was warm and professional, making our stay feel effortless and luxurious. The hotel was spotless, with beautifully maintained rooms and common areas that reflected the highest standards of cleanliness. One of the highlights was waking up to the most breathtaking mountain views each morning—they were simply unforgettable and made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines stunning scenery, impeccable cleanliness, and world-class hospitality, this is the place to stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended!"

"Comfortable beds! Very clean room. There is no onsite parking!! It’s either street parking or the church’s parking lot can be used for free, which is about 500 meters away, which was a bummer cause we had a rental car and did not want to stress about the car being damaged. Breakfast is ok. The beach is less than 50 meters from the hotel. We would go back."

"Good location in central Sparta, just across the town's main intersection from both the archaeological museum and the main plateia with its restaurants. My room came with a balcony that gave a fine view over the city centre. My single room and its bathroom were both on the small side, but perfectly adequate for just me. Although Palailogou Street was sometimes noisy, the double-glazing kept the room quiet. Air conditioning was also very effective. Very good breakfast buffet, better than most in Greek hotels. The staff was excellent and very helpful when it came to finding a rental car. My mattress was a bit saggy in the middle and the pillows a bit lumpy. Some of the bathroom fixtures needed a bit of updating or mending, but there were no major problems. Overall, a very good choice for a base in the southern Peloponnese. Over the decades, I have stayed at a few other hotels in Sparta, and I would definitely return to this one for its excellent value for money."
