"It’s a pretty old hotel in need of a proper renovation. Poor cosmetic fixes does not pass the test. The first thing that should be fixed is that deep pothole in the middle of the driveway that looks like it’s been there for years. I’m lucky that it didn’t damage my vehicle when I hit it. Poor value as far as I see it"

"We had a wonderful stay at West Coast Wilderness Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and enjoying breakfast overlooking the water made the experience truly special. The property is peaceful, well-maintained, and a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Egmont! We would happily return."

"The hosts were exceptionally responsive and welcoming. The unit was very clean and the hot tub was wonderful and extremely well maintained. The robes and slippers were a nice touch. As a party of 3 that included our adult son, getting the 3rd set of robe and slippers was a great surprise. He said the Murphy bed was very comfortable and the master bedroom was lovely. Such a comfortable place to spend 6 nights."

"We stayed 3 nights in May. The property is located directly on the ocean and you have access to a private dock with chairs to go sit and relax while watching wildlife. We did get the chance to see some orca whales in the distance and some sea lions. The property could be wonderful if it was well maintained. It shows it's age. Our room was clean, but the carpet was stained everywhere and was now grey and black in some areas instead of beige. The mattress, while comfortable, is sagging and shows it's age. We could hear the guests in the basement unit talk and move about. The location and views are 10/10, and with some love and maintenance, our stay could of been a 10/10"
