"I'll start with the positives (of which there were many): The home is beautifully built and smartly finished/ furnished. It's one of 4 buildings in the small enclave - each with its own pool. 2 of the 4 (including the one that we stayed in) faces directly onto the beach. The two main bedrooms upstairs are separated by a hallway, so there's privacy. Each has its own deck with view. The master bedroom bed is comfortable. "The rooms were spacious, the buffet breakfast delicious and the staff was very friendly. However, our key didn't work. I had to go to the lobby 7 times for this, which was a hassle. Also, in a 5 star resort there should be some things for kids to play with in the pool and more pampering amenities in the room, beside the obligatory shower cap. Also, a free shuttle to Chania would have been a big advantage. "
