Great Find in the Latvian Countryside

We very much enjoyed our one-night stay in this very attractive countryside hotel. The setting is fantastic and we had spectacular river views from our room.

Very nice boutique hotel in historical manor. Very spacious room (we booked a family room, which consists of two rooms and bathroom with bathtub), quiet area, hassle free parking, very tasty food in the restaurant. In-house playroom for children. Our third time here.

Very nice place, perfect for family stay with children, super tasty food at the restaurant. Best children playroom (better than in any other hotel we gave been all around Nordics) and good playground outside. Recomend and for sure will return there!

Overall this is a OK hotel. The area we think could be really beautiful during summertime. Room: We choose the suite this time and room was good. Dark and quiet when u want to sleep. They water in the room should not be in glass caraf. Should be glass bottles. Dinner: The menu could be divided into Starters, Main, Dessert. But the taste of the food was really good. We took Pasta Chicken and Duck. Thank you for the nice food. Breakfast: 15€ for this kind of breakfast, no thank you. For this kind of luxury hotel as it posted as the breakfast could be so much better. The choices are very few.

Unique manor with the best service ever

If you find yourself in Skrunda, this would be your best choice. It is an old manor in a park like setting on a river. There is not much in the local area and the hotel seems more likely a wedding or event property. We were the only guests. But the young man behind the front desk was extremely professional. He also served us dinner which was delightfully served outside on the river bank. He wore white gloves. And breakfast was a feast in a very opulent dining room. We felt like we owned the place. This really was a unique night.

Gem in an enchanting setting

We love this place! Beautiful surroundings, lovely service, comfortable room and delicious food. We were upgraded to a suite with a fabulous view. The bed was comfortable. Only small negative is the bathroom had a hospital feel - the room was accessible. We would love to come back.
