"Our family of 9 had a fantastic memorable 10 days at the Lodge! It was as large as expected with many rooms and directions to go. We laughed at the narrow creaky 2nd staircase which was very convenient for the 2 bedrooms above. The 6, 8, and 10 yr/old kids used it for hide-and-seek when they were ready to be caught. We didn’t know about the the secret room but did discover it on day 8. What fun!! The kitchen was large with lots of varied seating which was great AM meeting place for all of us. The living room was furniture was comfortable with large window to view the expanse of green grass.The sport room downstairs was teriffic and the river across the street was a real bonus for all of us! I highly recommend this Lodge for a group! it was Wonderful! To explain a missed *regarding Ease of Entry: We arrived in rain and darkness. The front light was on for us but the entry instructions did not work. After several tries and much scrambling with pre-ordered groceries getting wet at the door, we called the Host. They returned the call immediately and told us about an alternate entry. They inferred they were aware of the problem. Surely, they have fixed this by now. PS. Once inside the beautiful lodge we incredibly pleased!"
