About this property

Tail End | Outdoor Hot Tub

  • *Fiber Optic Internet & outdoor hot tub*

Tail End is a two-bedroom A-frame in the Red River Gorge with a private outdoor hot tub. Room for four, with a full kitchen and a porch built for slow mornings.

Soak in the hot tub under the trees after a day on the trail. Works well for two couples or a family of four, and you also have access to the shared fire pit area.

    Parking

    Room for two cars.

    About The Ridge

The Ridge is a privately owned property with six cabins total, five A-frames and one house. All of them sit within walking distance of each other on the same hill. If you're traveling with a bigger group, ask us about booking a neighboring cabin.

We're a small family operation, not a rental company. If you need anything during your stay, you're texting us directly.

    Getting here

Before your stay, we'll send you detailed directions with photos so you know exactly where you're going.

The short version: follow the signs, cross the bridge, and follow the driveway past Ripple Effect. Take a right at the fork and continue all the way up the hill.

Our A-frames are reached by a one-lane road that starts as gravel, turns to smooth blacktop about a quarter mile up, then returns to gravel at the top

Please note: during winter months when snow and ice are possible, four-wheel drive or tire chains are required.

Cool spot! The space is tight but worked well for our family of three, and the loft was great for our daughter. Great location from which to explore Natural Bridge. And the Daniel Boone coffee shop down the road was a great spot.

We stayed a coupled nights and very much enjoyed it. Quiet area, far enough from the road. Hot tub was great to come back to after days on trails!

The Tail End Cabin in Red River Gorge was a perfect little getaway. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Natural Bridge park and other beautiful hiking trails. The hot tub was perfect for after a day of hiking in the warm weather. The property was secluded and had a relaxing vibe inside and out. So much fun!!
