"The hotel is nicely situated for parking and close proximity to the pier. The room we stayed in was in the basement but the rooms had large windows but unable out of them. The room was very spacious. Parking lot was large. We had no issues finding a spot upon check in at 8 pm. The breakfast was very good. The ratings on people saying there was nothing in the buffet are fussy. There was fruit, pastries, hot items, yogurt bar with fixings, coffee and tea bar 24 hours a day. There is a Fresh Co directly across the street for anything you need. I would stay here again if I was in the area."

"I booked this wonderful cottage for my adult daughter and her partner who came to Thunder Bay to visit. They raved about this cottage. It ticked all the boxes. Beautiful inside. Spectacular setting. When they weren't sitting by the lake, they made the brief trip to hike the Sleeping Giant and visit Silver Islet. I would highly recommend staying here. Wonderful experience all around!"

"This little house had everything we needed for our family stay. Very clean, cozy and close to many amenities. Liked the fact that it was a short walk to the harbour front. The host was also very responsive. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Thunder Bay."

"Bare bones CLEAN room at great location and price. Very close to lots of great restaurants, bars, shops and the harbor. Even a casino just down the block. Bring your streaming service (Netflix, prime etc) credentials. Nice TV but no basic channels provided that I found. Overnight Parking is about a square block away but very cheap (5.25 for 24 hours). Street parking right outside the entrance is free for the first 2 hours. So very helpful. I was worried about the street noise when I arrived. Every once and awhile you heard a group walk by having fun during the dinner / happy hour rush. But it quieted down by 9-10 and I was never woken in the middle of the night."
