"If you are after a truly Swedish experience, this must be it. Located next to a lake, which gives it its name, the hotel offers old world charm. An excellent breakfast and good dinner round it off. Just keep in mind that this is an historic property so rooms are a little smaller but cozy and with good beds."

"Mysigt äldre hotell med alla bekvämligheter. Fint inredda sällskapsytor. Mindre frukost än de flesta andra hotell men hade ändå det nödvändigaste. Så jag är nöjd med frukosten. Sköna sängar men Minus till kuddarna i sängen som inte passade mig allas. Men det behöver ju inte betyda att de inte passar andra. Ligger precis bredvid järnvägen men inget som jag tyckte störde nattsömnen. "

"Amazing place at amazing price. Of cource it IS a hostel and not a hotel, but still... To be able to stay in a real castle at a rate that's lower than almost a month any hostel or motel is a fantastic experience. Good communication before arrival, and super easy check in via a keybox. The settings around the castle grounds also are beautiful with a magic little lake. The snall breakfast buffet was fine, and they had arranged glutenfree bread just for us. We totally recommend this place, which...
