"The host was very welcoming and provided great communication in advance of our stay. The property was very well maintained with spacious bedrooms and living areas. It was located very conveniently to the beach and local attractions for short trips away from the warming fireplace in winter."

"Host was very good. Property was excellent. Kids loved functional cubby house with three beds. Property was clean plenty of space, beds and linen to fit total of 12. One area of improvement for dishes rather than requesting to clean,dry and put it away. It should be like stack it in the dishwasher and run the cleaning cycle. As it was very hectic for us to put the dishes away etc with kids."

"The house was clean and well organised, probably renovated and painted. However, none of the bedrooms have heaters just two central heaters in the living areas, some beds are heated. Also for the price we paid, there were no sufficient toilet rolls. When we contacted then if there were any extra at the property, they asked us to buy from the supermarkets nearby, Would have been a better experience if they were sufficiently stocked depending on number of people and days. We needed to carry our linen, sheets and pillow covers, although doonas are provided. The wifi was a bit slow, Overall we had a comfortable stay, the house is at a good location. Great views from the living room."

"5 stars!! My dog and I absolutely loved our stay on Smiths Beach here. It’s perfectly compact and clean with everything you could want, need and then some. Linda not only offers the best advice on things to do on the island but has made sure to add all the finishing touches for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Ray immediately took to the guest dog bed and loved the complimentary dog treats. The couch was huge, the bed was so comfy (with great pillows and electric blankets) but the huge spa bath was the highlight. Wildlife is right on your doorstep and the beach is just short walk away, if you’re a surfer then Smiths beach is for you. Small snack bar round the corner but Wooli Tavern and Cottlesloe cafe are only a 10 minute drive away if you want more choice, which are both great. Driveway is a tad tight but no problem for small cars, and beach car park is literally next door if you want to park quickly or have a bigger car (just check parking restrictions). The best review is my dog did not want to leave, and that’s saying something - there’s only been one other place from 10+ trips! Highly recommend, both Ray and I really wish we could return tomorrow!"
