"The room was nice and clean. The ice was located in the main building which posed a challenge walking up the hill to our room. The rooms are not sound proof at all. We were watching the news at 10:30 PM. The guest started banging on the wall. We called the front desk to report it. It stopped but in the morning we could hear the guests walking in their room."
"Super nice staff. The cleaners need to be a bit more attentive as there was a lot of dust around the night table and lamp. The room looks recently renovated and felt fresh and new, although my room was unfortunately near the smokers’s corner, for some reason designated as such by the other guests, so there seemed to be a lot of people near my door smoking during my stay (not the fault of management, but not great if one has allergies.) Due to this, there were several chairs outside the door of my room, one broken and lying on its side (reported to the front desk). The breakfast buffet is ample for anyone who likes bagels, toast, cereal, coffee; nothing fancy like eggs or a pancake maker. The inn is well located near amenities like restaurants and the museum (walking distance) and an easy drive to many historic sites. Ample parking is also a plus."
"Room was comfy and cozy with a great view of the harbor and sail boats. Had all the amenities you could need during your stay. Check in was easy and the host was friendly and made sure they were available if any issues came up which they didn't. Highly recommend this location. Definitely stay here again when I'm the area."
"It was clean, the room was great it had all the amenities.
It is ocean front with a seating area on the grass overlooking the water.
The full breakfast was fantastic."
"Room was better than I imagined. Heated floors in bedroom, bathroom and shower. Electric fireplace in both bathroom and bedroom. Very quiet and relaxing. Service was excellent."
"Excellent breakfast included. The staff especially the breakfast staff was excellent. They can do a better job planting and maintaining the flowers in the front gazebo ."
Casa Moana, Lovely old house overlooking St. Mary`s Bay, with free breakfast.
10/10 Excellent
"I wasn't familiar with the bed-and-breakfast concept, never having shared living quarters with property owners before, but Len and Judie were generous, lovely, welcoming, and full of great information about the area. They fully respected our privacy. Loved using the kitchen, deck, and backyard and all the books and games. The rooms were beautiful and beds comfortable.A new neighbor in the area came by to meet the hosts and it surprised me when he walked into our guest living room where I was relaxing with a movie, instead of following the hosts through their space. That was my only privacy concern, but that was a reflection on him, not on Len and Judie! The home was restful and a good launching pad for all our Nova Scotia adventures. Thank you for your hospitality."
