fantastic place for a group to stay

The property is beautiful. We came to town for a hockey tournament, with several teens from the hockey team. They were all thoroughly entertained with the games room, hot tub, and beautiful property for an outdoor winter stroll. The lodge is on a gold course, with nothing but the gold course surrounding it.

Fun Bachelor Weekend!

This property was absolutely perfect for our low-key bachelor party weekend! It was the perfect space for our large group of 20 people and was the perfect amount of space. We had the best time! The views from the backyard overlooking the golf course were amazing! The outdoor areas of the house were incredible and there was enough space for everyone. If you have a large group, this is a perfect spot!

A Fantastic Experience at San Angelo Lodge!

Our church teen club had the pleasure of staying at San Angelo Lodge this past weekend, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was perfect for our needs. The lodge itself was immaculate and well-stocked with all the necessities we could ask for. The space was not only clean but also thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Graduation party

We held my son’s grad party here and the house was beautiful and perfect for our gathering! There was something for all age ranges from little babies to grandparents! The grounds are beautiful and the teenagers had a blast catching bluegill! Would definitely return!!

5th-8th Grade Trip

The Lodge was the perfect accomodation for our small school's 5th-8th grade trip to Detroit. There was plenty of space for the children to shoot baskets, roast marshmallows, hot tub, play the many basement games, hang out and chat. The kitchen supplied all the things we needed to feed the 30 people, and the adults felt like they always had a handle on where everyone was, without anyone feeling cramped or crowded. There was plenty of bathroom access, and the huge number of twins beds was a huge win for our group. Everyone wished we could have had another day on our trip of just being at the Lodge.

Family fun

The property is as it looks in the photo's. Beautiful scenery and views. Even though it's close to the highway, we never really heard the noise. So much to do that you don't even have to leave the property. If you're looking for a great family getaway, this is the place to do it at.

Amazing property

A wonderful property, highly recommend! Tons of space and lots of fun things to do. We had extended family and there something for everyone. The hot tub was hit, would be amazing if there was a pool for the summer! Beautiful setting and nice clean well stocked house. We will be back!

Silver Sticks Finals

Six families stayed here in this amazing house for the Silver Sticks Finals Hockey Tournament. The place was awesome. I would highly recommend staying here. Bryce and Jason were wonderful to communicate with. Hopefully we get to do it again in two years. Go Pittsburgh Aviators.

Guys trip

We just recently had a guys trip at this property. We were all blown away by the house and the lot by itself. Golfing was a bonus. Jason and Bryce answered any and all questions we had in a timely manor. The house itself was immaculate, with tons of things to do. We all had a great time!

Exactly what my group of 18 comes for!

Kathy and Joe have the best rental property in southeast Michigan, hands down. My friends and I always enjoy or stay at the SanAngelo lodge and last weekend couldn’t have gone by better! Fresh beds, a spotless chef’s kitchen, a hot tub and a pool/ping pong/poker basement that puts the best home entertainment rooms to shame. We check around for new rentals every year but somehow keep finding our way back to Kimball :) We couldn’t be happier with our stay and are already looking forward to next year!

Absolutely Amazing!

This house is truly amazing. Beautiful landscaped home on the golf course. We had an amazing experience. So many fun options for all ages with fishing, fire pit (supplied with firewood and kindling), basketball hoop, hot tub (and supplied towels), ping pong, foosball, air hockey, pool table, poker table, indoor electronic basketball, and yard games. WiFi and cable TV. The house was immaculate! So clean and the up-keeping is definitely 5-star worthy. Very spacious and enough room to accommodate our large group with various ages. Multiple decks and stunning patio are a highlight. Oversized grill on the patio with a full tank of gas. It literally was the most well stocked home we’ve rented. Plenty of pots and pans, utensils, silverware, paper supplies, coffee pots, toasters, blender, mix master, dishes, glasses (margarita and beer too), platters, and cutting boards. Towels and shampoo in every bathroom. The kitchen is a wonderful area to cook and spacious enough when everyone gathers in that area during meal prep. High-end appliances. The oversized refrigerator is helpful for large groups and the beverage fridge in the kitchen is another welcomed addition. Additional refrigerator in the garage. The owners were very easy to work with. Great communication and so very nice. I would highly recommend this property. It was truly one of the best! We can’t wait to return. Thank you, Kathy, for opening up your home for us to enjoy!

We hosted a small family only wedding here for my son. This was an amazing weekend. House is beautifully set up. Every family member had something nice to say about the place. Kids just loved the games in the basement area, the room to run around outside and the little pound full of frogs turtles and fish. Would highly recommend!

We rented the San Angelo Lodge for our annual girls weekend (14 people) and everything was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed! Cathy was the best checking in on us and even helped with a special request.
