"This was a perfect hotel. Needed a quick getaway and this was a great find. Close to the beach, just cross the street to the beach access. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was neat, clean, and roomy. There is no restaurant on site (not an issue since there are plenty of restaurants around), but there is a nice bar. There is a nice fitness room too. Already reserved again since it was in such a perfect location. This is a great place if you want to have a peaceful vacation on the beach."
"I loved this hotel. Nothing fancy but the vibe is low key and casual… loved the oceanfront location and balcony on each room. The area behind the hotel is so cool, sandy area with tables overlooking the beach as well as a pool and tiki bar. The restaurant is very good, biscuits were homemade and best I’ve had. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas. The a/c is cool and bed very comfy!"
"This is my new favorite spot in Beaufort - I beg you not to sleep on this place! It’s 10/10 all the way around! I want to gatekeep it for the breakfast, vibes, and room. But alas, it’s a whole 5 stars and then some in every avenue!"
Garnet Inn & Suites, Morehead City near Atlantic Beach
6/10 Okay
"The property at Garnett looked very nice and the pool was nice and clean.
The room, however, was not. The beds were clean and comfortable but the bathroom needed cleaning. The floor was dirty, the tub was dirty and drained very slowly, I would say they need a bathroom remodel. The towels and wash cloths felt damp before you even used them. Most hotels have at least 4 of each. We had 2 and there were 3 in our party.
The staff was okay. They were not overly friendly and sometimes grudgingly helpful. One lady even locked the pastry cabinet and turned off the juice machine while my granddaughter was still getting her food, very RUDE indeed! I will not be staying there again."
"We loved our stay! Nice and roomy! There were a few cosmetic issues but that didn’t affect our overall experience. We would definitely consider coming back!"
"The room was exceptionally clean. The staff at the dive shop were friendly. The room was spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. I will stay here again when I come back."
