Kangastay on Vivonne Bay beside the Harriet River on Kangaroo Island.
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed staying at Kangastay very much. It felt comfortable and homely and was equipped with everything you could want in the way of cooking and entertainment (games, books, dvds etc). We liked the pictures and furnishings which were a pleasant change from the spare/modern look of much accomodation now. Ros's guide the island was also greatly appreciated."
"This is a hidden Jewel where you are all alone on a cliff right above the bay it is magnificent with quick access to all the natural wonders offered by Kangaroo Island this space had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen minus the food of course"
Ocean View overlooking Vivonne Bay - minutes' walk to beach
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing location. Right next to outdoor adventures like little Sahara, and atv tours, and the wildlife refuge. Wonderful, secluded beach with all sorts of wildlife. Loved the wallaby visitors and the bird visitors."
"Great location, comfortable, clean and private. Love the visits from the wallabies towards evening. Excellent communication with the hosts. They go above and beyond. Thank you Ian and Ann"
"The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful.
However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine.
We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes.
It would be advisable to take some insect repellant as we had quite a few mosquitoes gain entry on our last night."
