Tucked away on a quiet street just steps from the beach, Lil Orphan Annie is a bright, second-row coastal retreat ideal for a relaxing family getaway — pets included. Enjoy ocean views from the spacious deck, a large backyard, and a peaceful, uncrowded beach just a 1-minute walk away (no nearby public parking means fewer crowds).

We’re currently completing a few light updates to continue improving the home. These will not impact your stay.

Great Stay

Great two days!

We haven't been to Topsail in 13 years and this was a fantastic reunion with the island! The beach house had everything we needed and was extremely convenient to get to the beach. We would stay here again!

Property was just as described and just steps from the beach access. While we've stayed at fancier homes on the island, this property was clean, convenient, and a great value.

Nice Little Beach House

This property suited our needs well. Beach was just a 3 minute walk away, and we went every day! This is not a regular beach access site, so there is no public parking, but there is also no lifeguard or rip current warnings - make sure to check the surf conditions everyday and watch your kids. Pros: -Outside shower and hose to help keep the sand out of the house -Proximity to beach -Well-working appliances (Washer is TOP load, not front load like the listing says) -Plenty of room for a family of 4 -Pet friendly (even though we didn't bring a pet) -Communication with host - quick responses -Linens and towels were good quality -Not a huge list of things to do a checkout Cons: -Wi-fi wasn't working properly - communicated with host, but it was never resolved - not a big deal for us -No shower caddies, or shelves in shower so we had to put our toiletries on the shower floor -Eating table was sticky - consider bringing a table cloth if you want to use it for board/card games I would recommend this property to anyone who wants close access to the water, and doesn't need a super swanky place to stay!

nice place

its was a nice place & the location was decent. The appliances all worked as well as the water/showers etc. However there were some issues. Whomever is cleaning the location is not doing a good job at all. Your filters are not being changed regularly at all, thee ceiling is black with dust new all of the vents. There was a lot of sand everywhere. I know its the beach but I'm talking about visually being able to see the level of sand under the couch and dinning room table. But at least there is a broom I'm not sure why you have a concrete counter top. There is no was to clean that & its disgusting. You should definitely consider replacing that asap. I suspect that a bleach type of cleaner is being used on the dining room table because it has turned the lacquer sticky and everything sticks to it. There was food wrappers under mattress in the bunkbed room and a lot of sand on the mattress and under the bed. There were only 2 rolls of TP for 4 adults and on child for a week. That is not enough remotely. Another suggestion I have is to put an awning over the door, the door knob gets very hot. it could easily become a hazard. If you are ever able to rebuild the deck to so in the front or even the back on the side it doesn't catch the wind so its just miserable hot on that deck. Also please update your listing there are some things that are not up to date. Like the wi-fi password and there is no grill at least we never could find one. Oh take kids toys down that's a joke.

Checkin was not good. Given wrong code for lockbox. Washer broke 1st time used it. Floor in house uneven and could feel holes under vinyl floor.

This condo was beautifully decorated (albeit small) and right across the street from the beach. There is a little tiki bar down the street but otherwise you have to drive to restaurants.

Happy as a Clam at High Water

We had a great time at Little Orphan Annie on North Topsail Beach. What a relaxing place! The deck was our favorite place to hangout when off the beach. The view and sounds of the ocean were just what we'd hoped for. Beach access was quite convenient and made trips back for drinks and snacks quick and easy. The North end of the island is very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay….cozy little beach house.

Location was awesome! Didn’t mind the short walk to the beach. House was exactly as pictured. Comfy beds, had everything we needed. If we had one complaint, it would be that there’s not full cable TV. But definitely not a deal breaker for us. We would stay at ‘lil orphan Annie’s again.
