Snoqualmie Tunnel

The hotel was nice but I had a negative experience regarding the staff. Our email said check in began at 3 pm. We showed up at this time to drop off luggage and use the bathroom before heading back out. When we were given our code and went to our room, the door was already open. Housekeeping hadn't finished cleaning though it looked like they were close. We found some staff who apologized and said it would be done soon. No big deal for us since we weren't even going to stay, we were understanding and said it's fine and if we could leave our luggage before we left. They said no problem. I took a moment to use the bathroom, grab some things, and we were gone. Then a few hours later I received a bizarre text from the hotel. It stated that we had disturbed the cleaning process by arriving too early, that check in wasn't until 4 pm which they claimed we had been told many times (this was the first we've heard it) and that we had been asked several times to leave the room and implied that we had refused. I responded by providing a screenshot of my email showing check in is at 3pm and explained that none of that happened. The staff I spoke to apologized profusely which I did appreciate. The original staff we spoke to in person lied about the whole thing, I can only guess to cover for themselves for not being ready on time. Yet we had no desire to complain. It was strange. Reading these accusations while we were trying to enjoy our vacation didn't feel great.

Great location for walking downtown Redmond and surrounding park areas and trails. Lots of international travelers in the building and that alone provides a different level of smell and aroma throughout. Breakfast was nice and very diverse on most mornings, offering a good selection to meet the wide range of traveler tastes. Our in-room coffee maker did not work and maintenance never made it up to swap it out or fix it, meaning we had to go to the lobby for coffee. Unfortunately, after hours, they rely on a single serve coffee maker (Keurig style) that was most often out of water and only the desk attendant could refill the holding tank. Somewhat of a pain. We are planning a 30+ day stay later in the year and this facility may be in the running for our business but I have a few more to check out before returning for such a long stay.
