"The room was fine but hauling a heavy suitcase up a ton of stairs when I’m solo traveling is not the most convenient. (I almost fell the stairs are very small). I don’t remember reading a description about it when I booked the room. I would just say if they can update the website and let people know there’s no elevator and you may have a room upstairs would be a great idea. The room also had a very strange smell to it and the pillows are pretty much nonexistent. I really had a completely fine stay but I want others to have a realistic review to consider before booking. The location you couldn’t beat and I got coffee at Rise & Grind right down the road less than 10 minutes - Best coffee of the entire trip."

"Absolutely wonderful property! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Lots of things to do for adults as well as children. No one ever got bored. We're an avid family of cooks and appreciated the large kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, bowls and our size wine glasses...:) The hosts were very quick at responding to all of our questions! Check in and out was a breeze. We've been members of VRBO for many years and this is one of the best rentals we've stayed at. Thanks again for sharing your remarkable property."

"Accidentally booked the room with the shared bathroom and shower but that was my fault. There are rooms with it’s own private bathrooms. For a historic building from the early 1900s. It was well kept and restored to the time period as much as they can. The view of mt rainier from the porch was beautiful, a nice place to enjoy a drink. Staffs were friendly and helpful. There is no wifi in the inn but you don’t need wifi, just un plug and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Would definitely stay here again when I’m back to Mt Rainier."

"Decided to take off midweek and visit Rainier from Seattle for sunrise. Booked this the day before and once I arrived, was disappointed I didn’t have more time to stay a second night. The cabin was perfect and very clean. I felt comfortable as a solo female traveler staying here, and dinner at the restaurant the evening I rolled in was perfect after a long drive. I departed early for the park in the morning so I didn’t get to check the breakfast out, but I’ll be back!"

"Clean and cozy cabin ! Loved the mountain feel and the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. We appreciated being only a couple miles away from Mount Rainier National Park and the short drive to Packwood to get essentials and go out for dinner !"
