"The family and I really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning! The overall experience was great. Very clean and nice place to stay. Getting a tour of the farm was the best part. The host are great people and very accommodating for any needs you may have!"

Canyon's Edge Family Cabin- best scenic canyon views, hot tub & fire pit!

"The cabin was large and comfortably accommodated the 8 of us for 2 nights. The kitchen was small, but had everything needed. The view and porch were the highlight of the stay! The fire pit was also a win for the kids roasting marshmallows (but know you have to provide your own firewood). The only 2 aspects of the cabin that were uncomfortable were 1) the size of one of the full bathrooms. It was so small, 2 people cannot fit in there at one time and a very large person would not be able to shower very easily. And 2) know that there is another rental house very close next door and so your stay is not very private if everyone is outside on the porches. But overall it was wonderful and I'd rent it again!"

"This was the perfect getaway from the city and all the fireworks. Stayed over 4th of July and had a wonderful time. Host Lora was so accommodating and helpful, could not have asked for a better host. We loved the seclusion and the surrounding forested area. The fenced in yard was enjoyed by Remington our "Old Man". The cabin was stocked with everything needed for our stay. The bed was super comfy, we need to find that type of mattress topper. We lounged in the recliners and watched some TV, ate snacks and just relaxed and decompressed. The mornings were perfect, cool air and light fog filled the area. We couldn't have been more happy with our stay. We definitely want to come back in the fall to catch the changing of the leaves. Lora, thanks again for the great experience."

"The cabin was amazing. Everything inside was practically brand new. The location is right off the road and the views are nice. The cabins are secluded enough you feel like you’re out in the woods, but close enough to get right back on the road. The lights inside the cabin had two modes, which made nighttime very cozy and romantic. There aren’t shades in the bedroom, but it felt private enough. The hot tub was a nice touch. It is shared but the second cabin was not rented. Looks like there will be a third eventually. This would be a perfect spot for a couples retreat. The listing did say laundry facility, but we did not find one at location. Fire pit and hammock were a lot of fun and firewood was close by. Communication with the host great. Check in was super easy, as was check out. There were fun little details through the cabin that made the trip memorable. Recommendations for food were spot on. Jasper pizza co is hands down the best pizza in the Midwest. "

"This place is absolutely fantastic !! It’s a well appointed, charming little home with everything you could need. The location is off the beaten path, and that is exactly what I was looking for. It was very clean and everything inside is modern. The property itself is beautiful. A couple of doe’s with two fawns appeared twice a day and my kids really enjoyed watching them. The local groundhog is a real character. He runs around the property all day and seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. The owners took a lot of pride in building this get away and it really shows. If you’re considering a very secluded and private retreat, this is definitely the place. We will most certainly be returning. "
