"The cabin was beautiful and all the small touches were wonderful. It made you very comfortable. It was a joy staying there. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very clean. Entertainment was very good. It was relaxing. We did not use the hot tub so I can't speak for that. The only cons I have is the water pressure in the kitchen sink was almost non-existent, but it was fine throughout the rest of the house. The grill was very hard to cook on since it was an open type. Getting there was a real trick. Even with the maps and video it was tough the first time. I bottomed out on the gravel road. The next day the main road had been graded and it made it a lot better. However, Hoot Owl Bill Rd wasn't graded and it was very hard to get up the hill. Overall I would still give it a 5. It was great!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. We experienced cooking over an open flame for the 1st time ever! It was very quiet and the stars were beautiful. "

"The cabin was exactly as advertised! The cabin was well equipped and the master bed was extra comfy!! It was the first time we took our dog in a trip and we loved that it had a small fended yard, Be aware the drive up is tricky and you WILL NEED A 4 wheel drive NO MATTER the time of the year. We had to drop our truck into 4 wheel drive for the final push into the driveway everytime. The privacy was nice and we enjoyed walking down and exploring the little neighborhood and behind the house! Will definitely come back!!"

"A four year old walked-inb the door and stopped dead in his tracks and saids"this is amazing"! The view by itself makes this an excellent cabin, but the thoughtfulness of its provisioning and the extra touches made this cabin truly next level. We will be coming back!If there was a downside, the road up from the highway is a but much, but was definitely not a problem. I just took some patience. Any inconvenience from that was far, far outweighed by the prize at the end of the road."

"Charming mountain house with a wrap around deck and screened porch. Hot tub was great and kitchen details - like pot holders and corkscrew/bottle opener - appreciated very much. Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. "
