Well kept older property

An older property probably built in the 1950’s as a motel. Very clean. We arrived late at night, the desk clerk was friendly, fast, and had a sense of humor. The room had been renovated, even the ceiling was recently painted. The bathroom was mostly renovated, the tub was clean but showing its years. The bed was comfortable. The property was quiet.

The rooms looked great, much better than the dated looking outside of hotel. Bathtub needed to be repaired and bathroom doorknob was also in need of repair. Good price and very acceptable for a one night stay. Staff was friendly.

Don’t let the outside fool you. It does look a little ruff. But the rooms are very nice. Very clean and well appointed. I will stay there again if I drive through the area in the future. The young man at the desk was a kind and considerate person.

Good stuff - comfy bed, good sized fridge w/working freezer, safe, iron/ironing board, microwave, good shower, nice front desk personnel Bad stuff - I stayed 6 nights and housekeeping came once, WiFi was almost unusable (they did reset it 2x for me which seemed to help a bit), shower fan was super loud and rackety, light fixture hanging off the wall by wires, terrible quality toilet paper You get what you pay for on this one, no frills, but not expensive which is nice for longer stays.

Walking distance to several restaurants. Bathroom in room needs a lot of work. The tile around the shower has mold. For that reason my wife and I decided not to take showers. The coating on the bathtub was peeling and looked bad and the bathroom door could not be closed. The bedroom part of the room was fine. We feel we should get a partial refund of our fee for these issues.

The Baymont Employees were very friendly and nice and efficient. The hotel is in the process of major renovations. The grout around the bathtub tile needs to be removed and re-grouted. There were black spots all over in it , making it look moldy, even though it didn't smell moldy. There was no Hot water running to the shower head or in the bathtub. But the sink had scalding hot water and cold water. It is clear they are still upgrading things. The beds were new and very comfortable. The TV was oversized, which was great. It was very quiet in our location.

The property has a good location close to several restaurants. However, the bathroom had several issues. First, the tile in the shower looks like it has mold so my wife and I decided to forgo taking a shower. The tub is peeling its outer layer and looks bad. Also, the door to the shower/toilet could not close as it is out of alignment with the door frame. We feel we should get a partial refund considering these irregularities. There was no one in the office to speak to about these issues when we checked out.

the property had comfortable bed and pet friendly. could definately be cleaner, could see light all around door. felt uncomforatible and did not take shower. grounds needed swept and washed down lots of glass in driveway. trash was wide open. expected more from the Windham s Property apparently was updated by previous company but that appears to be years ago. needs substancial investment to get it up to reasonable quality standard. Floor in dining room was water damaged and while photos look good, the reality of the rooms and property were substandard. And as my wife just added. "thats as kind as we can be. "

Socorro stays are pretty middling; this hotel managed to take an older facility and make it comfortable and inviting. I trust Wyndham, but I know what Socorro has to offer too. We were greeted by a delightful, informative manager who kindly informed us of our breakfast options as well as good restaurants in the area. She directed us to our room, which was behind an under-construction pool (ok - no one’s swimming now). The room was exactly as shown in the image-clean, comfortable, and outfitted with Dove-level amenities. We did notice a fair bit of daylight around the door, but the lock was Ok. Beds were comfortable. There wasn’t coffee in the room, but since we were striking out early for birds, we just swung through Circle K across the street - new and thankfully opened early. The cost with my Expedia discount was about the cheapest I’ve ever had for a hotel - and worth every penny.

The exterior old and uninviting. The interior has been refreshed and updated however the bathroom still has an old tub that needed to be replaced or refinished…it was gross and I didn’t even shower there. The breakfast left much to be desired.

Well as in all dated motels. It had a old structure smell. Great that the floors were wood type. Used a room fresher Tub wasnt cleaned properly Body soap was empty While showering the smoke alarm went off. Had to get out of ahowwr to reser the alarm. Not sure why it went off. Was quiet
