"We loved our stay. Cottage is cosy, well equipped; we had all we needed, even if the items were not the most modern ones. The location is amazing (that is if you like a secluded place surrounded by nature). Check-in was interesting, as the couple didn't speak English, and our German is not that good (Finnish even worse), but they were very friendly and kindly accomodated our late arrival. Thank you"

"Villa Aihki is really wonderful. It is very cosy with the sauna and fireplace that can be used any time. The light around and in the house is done very nice so it feels very warm and comfortable. Even the birds come to feed on the terrace :) The bed is very good, pillows as well. The seating in the living room is very comfy too. The area is very quiet and feels safe. You can always go out for a walk - it is only nature everywhere around the house. We also walked several times to Luosto."

"We were astounded when we arrived at KeloVille. It’s a beautiful, rustic cabin surrounded by gorgeous trees. It was close enough to walk to the village but still had a wilderness vibe. The kitchen was well stocked, there was everything we needed. We didn’t use the sauna but used everything else. Beautiful fireplace. We had wonderful family time in this cabin with no distraction. It’s clean, and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. If we return to Luosto, I will book this cabin every time."

"We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 9. We found the cabin to have everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and the communication from the key holder was good. The location was perfect for us being quiet and away from the centre, but still walking distance to everything. We loved exploring the paths around the lake and were lucky enough to see the northern lights every night of our stay."

"Holiday home Mervinrinne was an absolute winter wonderland. The location is remote but just perfect. Surrounded by trees covered in snow we walked in to a cabin that was warm toasty and incredible! It was clean & homely. The photos do not do it justice. I wish we had stayed longer just to spend a day soaking up the peace of the place. Even the the lit tree on the balcony was a great touch. For our children's first holiday away we couldn't have wished for a more perfect place."

"It has been a dream of mine to visit Finland in the winter. This year it became possible. When I started looking for places to stay, the cabin popped up in my search.I loved it here and this area. "There’s nothing quite like waking at 2 am to find yourself gazing at stars right over your bed. The aurora cabins do that for you, and as well provide a ringside view of the northern lights when they’re out. All I can say is wow. Meals are also amazingly well prepared, creative starters and mains - though tell them before you arrive if you don’t eat meat because they may not otherwise have a fish alternative. And super helpful staff…."

"This accommodation was the perfect end to our trip to Finland, the cabin was genuinely faultless, it was spacious and cosy, with a very comfy and warm feeling. The kitchen was was well equipped with pots and utensils etc for if you wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was comfy with a lovely view to wake up to. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean with! Genuinely cannot pick fault with this place. The hot tub was the perfect end to every day and we even found time to jump in before our flight home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were attentive if you needed the to be and the dropped off a lovely breakfast each day for us. The only quibble I had was the drive from the main road to the accommodation, the track felt like an afterthought or was maybe unfinished as it was littered with potholes. But that is her only issue I can find with the accommodation. Overall would definitely recommend and would without question stay there again! "

"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. Whilst watching the lights we got ourselves locked out when the cabin door shut after us so make sure you snip the door or take key outside!! Sent a message to customer service (phone number didn’t work for us) and they responded sending a maintenance man to let us back in within an hour (90 euro fee). Did a few activities in the area led by local guides and walks in the beautiful white landscape. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. "
