A comfortable, good value stay

A good value option 20-25 mins from the centre but close to trams, buses and metro. Rooms were spotlessly clean, fast wifi and good breakfast. Staff are lovely and helpful, especially Maria on reception.

Great room, hotel at a great location if traveling by bus or train, and a dedicated taxi line at the front desk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure why the fridge wasn't plugged in, only flaw in an otherwise fine stay. Would stay again.

I am in Sofia to start a tour of the Balkans. The tour agency uses this hotel and olí chose it for the first night I was in town to be at the same hotel. The hotel and area around it is quiet. Walkable to the city center. Breakfast is good in the mornings.

Started with having to climb seven flights of stairs because lift wasn’t working then the room and bed smelt badly of cigarette smoke despite asking for a non-smoking room. Everytime I went to reception they ignored me and continued speaking to other employees in Bulgarian as if I didn’t exist. The breakfast was nice and staff in dining room were pleasant.

The room is quite small and dimly lit. The furniture is dark brown and so is the carpet. We were there in mid April and found the room very warm. We opened the window to let in some cool air but that was a short term solution because of the street noise.

We were pleasantly surprised at the attentiveness of staff to our needs, their ability to quickly help when needed and always being greeted with a smile. The food was chef exceptional. Ate at this hotel every evening as a result. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs and bacon, fresh croissants and various coffee choices. Room was clean, AC worked well and very spacious. VIP status was definitely worthy. Location of the hotel was in walking distance to all the historical sites (less then 20 minutes) We would recommend this hotel.

Friendly reception Comfortable bed clean bathroom but carpets old and stained. Very nice breakfast though. My only complaint is that they charge 25 Euros and not Levas for airport transfer when a Cab only charges 25 BGN . So I got a cab as cheaper. I would stay again as it’s close to the bus station. Thank you.

The area around the hotel did not appear as safe as we were expecting. This was an issue only after dark. During the day it was all good. The hotel is very close to the bus station and to the railway station. It is also close (20-30 minutes walk) to main city buildings. The staff is very friendly. The hotel’s room was clean.

Overall I had a lovely stay. The property was clean and staff were friendly, and a to-go breakfast was prepared for my friend and I for our early early flight. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star and not five was there was just one pillow for each bed, which is something I’ve never seen. I needed more neck support. And the bedding cover was a bit short. I’m 5”10, so anyone over that toes would be poking out. I would stay there again, but different room.
