"The room itself was basic but perfectly adequate for a one night stop, though it would havd been nice to ha e a proper cup rather than paper for hot drinks in the room. We had evening dinner and breakfast, both of which were fine. The main let down was the bathroom- when using the tap in the sink it came off in my hand (you had to be very careful when using it). "What a find! The owners have combined their family heirlooms with modern facilities most charmingly in their farmhouse. Beautiful gardens and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces. A most sympathetic and friendly hostess. Our evening meal was home cooked with vegetables and fruit from their potager. This will be our default stopover and we fully intend to stay a few nights and explore the area by bicycle in the future."

Half way home from the mountains.
"We had booked two rooms and surprised to find we weren't in the main hotel but an apartment opposite. The rooms were lovely and it was great to have the place to ourselves. We had two apartments, each two bedrooms. Each apartment was well equipped and had very comfy beds, pillow and simply the most amazingly soft towels! There was a kitchenette, and the fridge had bottled water in it. It was a little noisy at night but it was the murmur of voices rather than music and it didn’t stop us from sleeping. The location is a nice square with bars and restaurants, only spoilt by the car park in the middle. But it was very convenient. All the staff were lovely and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and explore the area more. Oh. Did I mention the hotel had a champagne bar!!"
