The folks there were super nice, even allowed us to do some laundry as we were traveled to our next destination. One thing my mom would have loved is an elevator but for pensions that have been around for long, that would be a rarity. But overall, great stay at a nice quiet place! "

"We stayed three nights in this hotel and a very comfortable room overlooking Sokcho lake, absolutely wonderful. Check-in and check-out are both self-service and there is an assumption that you have Whatsapp on your phone as the check-in details are sent via this app, which we didn't have. Nevertheless, a staff member was available to assist us with our check-in. There's enough coffee shops and restaurants in the area and you are going to visit Seoraksan National Park, a local bus will get you...

"The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho."
