"Went to front desk just to ask just only 2 hand towels but give a huge plastic bag to place the moist ones in and put outside the room to exchange for the fresh ones. The housekeeping came by and picked it up and waited for 20mins and still didn’t get the fresh towels. Got up and walk back to front desk again and they told will ask the housekeeper to come by again and dropped off at the room. What a hassle??? It’s just too cumbersome, inconvenient and time consuming for simply just asking for two extra hands towels…. Studio is not roomy and pretty tight. Feel like rushing on morning of checking out. We aware and knew the time and getting busy of packing and loading up…"

"Property is currently being renovated and you can't use the stairs. Rooms have been renovated and look nice. Balconies look out onto a dismal parking lot/commercial area. The layout is awkward with the elevator located in the parking garage (no access from lobby). Please note, in addition to your room key, you need the elevator access key card that opens the door from the parking garage to get to the elevator. If you don't have this, you will be locked out."

"We loved our stay in Solana Beach. The property was perfect for our family. The location near Fletcher’s Cove was great Beach access. Our only complaint was the ants that we could not seem to get rid of; which we understand is an issue for beach locations. We bought some storage containers for our food and the host brought over additional traps, so we made it work. The beds were good, the amenities and thoughtfulness of the hosts/owners were the best of any VRBO we’ve stayed at, from spices, towels, beach supplies, etc. We would stay here again."

"We have stayed 3 times in this general area of Solana Beach and this location has the best and easiest access to the beach and a great viewing area for the beautiful sunsets. Kim the host was very quick to respond to any questions. The place was exactly as described in the listing. The bedrooms are a fair size, the master bath is a bit cramped but fine, linens, towels, soaps are all provided, the kitchen has lots of plates, dishes, cups and appliances. We did notice whoever does the cleaning between renters needs to do a better job, there was some dust and lots of human hair all around the bathroom sink and tubs which were easily washed away. I also borrowed some cooking utensils to use for our stay from our daughter since the ones there were a bit old and the plastic spatula was melted. Again, this is not a big deal for us. Parking for our car was just around the corner from the front door, we were able to see the car from the dining room. Being right next to the pool was a little noisy but that was no big deal. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the pool on one of the main streets in the complex. There was a bit of car/truck noise in the morning from the garbage truck making its rounds and the construction vehicles that would pull in to do the work on the buildings roofs. There was a lot of construction going on and scaffolding all around some of the buildings and it would have been nice to have known about it. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again."

"This is a very nice Casita in a quiet area of Solana Beach. The place was clean, within walking distance of the beach, the Coaster station(train), great restaurants and shops and the bed was very comfortable. Nina was very responsive to communication. There is an amazing Thai massage place just 2 blocks away that I highly recommend, as well. I will definitely be back!! Thanks Nina."
