Made our first trip to AK, stayed here for the first half and it made a great base camp for us to explore all the different areas of the Kenai. Would definitely consider again for a future trip.
Extended family stayed 3 nights. We were fishing with friends who lived across the road. Loved the complete fish cleaning and prep station and freezer!! They also had rods and reels but we didn’t use them. The house with a living room and huge upstairs TV room worked well for our kids. The kitchen was stocked with essential which was very nice. Brad was easy to work with and very accommodating. We hope to come back!
Great cabin with great fishing nearby. The cabin had everything needed for a restful nights sleep and great salmon fishing nearby. The property owner communicated quickly and was very accommodating. We used some of their fishing gear since we came in from TN and it worked out great.
Nice place with a convenient location to fishing on the Kenai! It had everything we needed for our stay and more. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
The house worked out well, adequate beds and living arrangements for the 8 of us. We were fortunate enough to catch a nice pile of reds and used the onsite processing room to get them ready to fly back to Montana. The location is great, we regularly saw moose on the drive to and from the house. I would suggest a new shower head for the downstairs bathroom as it seems to be clogged from the mineral in the water.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The fishing was great. About an hour drive to Kenia, where we took a drift boat trip. Saw a cow moose and her calf right out the back window. Felt like a true Alaskan adventure.
We were there for 6 says for fishing and a quick wedding. While the place is nice. It was not really ready for us to stay.Basic items were missing(toilet paper). The doors were not locked when we arrived, keys left in the garage door and it was left open.It Should have been locked and unavailable to us.The fish processing room was not functional as listed, So we had to figure that out a different way on the fly with out much time to deal w it.I should have checked it all out right when we got there, not right when we went to use it.
Cute cabin close to Kenai River fishing. Clean and well-appointed with plenty of peace and quiet. Hosts Chris and Brad were very responsive. Loved the king-size bed and (big screen TV for the rain day) Look for Matilda the moose and her babies while you’re here! Would book again for future trips.!!!
