"Villa Sol is a fantastic and in a great location. The house was immaculate and the property well laid out. There is plenty of sunshine by the pool and shade all around the house, keeping it from getting too hot indoors. Although the kitchen is small, it is well stocked. A couple of ice cube trays are all it needs. :) The bedrooms, all en suite, are a good size with comfortable beds. We loved the 30-second walk to the sea and enjoyed a swim a couple of times of day. The view from the outdoor dining table is lovely and we made good use of the great barbecue too. It is less than a 10-min walk to the beachfront in town and it was lovely enjoying a drink at Phil's Beach Bar on a few evenings. You can also do great walks/hikes from the house going left or right on the road that runs along the seafront. One thing I would recommend is you do a grocery shop before getting on the ferry. Although we did still need to use the main Studenac in Grohote, it is not a great store. During the week, there is also a small fruit/veg market in the parking lot next to the store. Finally, Bruno, our host, is first rate! He sent comprehensive information before our stay, was waiting for us on arrival and clearly wants to ensure his guests have a great stay in his lovely home. If you are considering a stay on the island of Solta and you will have a car, this is the house you should book. "

"Wonderful view from the house that you will never tire of. We had such a relaxing stay it was what was needed. The house is very clean, well equipped, spacious and the pool is lovely. The house is split on 2 levels with separate entrances and each level has a kitchen which was very handy to serve both seating areas outside. The owners were very prompt with all communication, very welcoming and helpful and the welcome package was a lovely bonus on arriving. They helped us with our luggage from and to the ferry and are on the island if you need anything. We did not have a car so used ferries, buses and taxis to get around. The ferry is just down the road and it then takes an hour to get to Split - there are 6 ferries a day, There are several beaches in walking distance with amazing clear water and to get to the other towns there are buses that leave from near the ferry port when a ferry has just arrived. The supermarket is about 15 minute walk away up a very steep hill which keeps you fit! There are two restaurants in the town of Rogac - one is a pizzeria and is cash only and the other is called Paserela and right by the water with excellent food. We also found another one in walking distance near the supermarket which was also excellent. "

"This property is simply outstanding. Everything has been done with care. The house has four very good bedrooms each with an excellent en suite bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and we coud easily handkerchief meals for 11 people. Miranda added sone beds to the rooms to provide the extra space we needed. The outdoor space is extraordinary. The pool is excellent and a good size. The entire outdoor area is setup with beautiful gardening and various different spaces to sit. There is a large outdoor table where we ate most meals. There is an outdoor cooking area with a sink and a huge oven where you can create fires for grilling or trying the Croatian peka method of cooking. The town itself "
