Nestled in the heart of Omega Park, This stunning 5-bedroom vacation home offers a serene and rejuvenating escape. Surrounded by the breathtaking Daniel Boone National Forest and just a short walk from the picturesque Cumberland River, You'll be immersed in the natural beauty of the region.
Our home offers easy friendly access and mobility to those who may have difficulties navigating stairs and bathrooms (we are not ADA compliant).

As a guest, you'll enjoy an array of traveler favorites, including high speed internet a washing machine and dryer, a cozy stone fireplace with smart TVs in all the bedrooms and common living areas. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator grill, and more, allows you to indulge in home-cooked meals, while the dining table provides the perfect setting for shared meals and conversations.

Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings as you prepare your meals on the gas grill. Our decks provide plenty of seating for outside dining.

Lake Cumberland Retreat

Beautiful house with great kitchen near upper end of Lake Cumberland, Burnside & Somerset. If Wolf Creek Dam is the "alpha" then this property is the Omega Retreat.

Great place. Wonderful time.

Everything was fantastic for our stay. The Millers were great host with their property. We had much more than we expected and found that in 20+ years of vacationing with our family, this place was one of the best we have stayed in. Thanks for the kayaks, the extra beach towels, the fire pit and so many other things we enjoyed so much. We were close enough to the water to walk and it was not a trip to launch our boat. Great stay.

My family and I had an amazing time at the Omega retreat! The home was perfect: clean, great location, the amenities left was wanting for nothing. David was wonderful to work with, very attentive. Definitely recommend this location to families who want a fun and great get away.

This location was wonderful for our 10 person adult group. Very well stocked and accommodating. Wished closer to a marina to leave boats, but all worked out wonderfully. big kudos to host.

Clean, Updated Stay

Overall, we had a great stay at this house. The location is walkable to the boat ramp and has an easy parking spot for 1 boat (the turnaround is a bit tight, but do able) and a spacious 5 bedrooms. The owner was very hospitable. He came to check on us 3x in our 4 night stay. While I believe this was with good intentions, it did make us feel like we were being watched as he would just swing by since he was in the area.

Well Done Rental

Fantastic!

We were a group of 7. 3 couples plus 1. 5 big bedrooms and 3 full baths made it great for us to spread out. The owner went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate all of our needs AND wants! This house provides bikes, float tubes, kayaks, fire pit, cornhole, yard Yahtzee, and many other games to entertain us! Everything was 5 stars! I only rated the location 4 stars because it does take 20-25 minutes to get to a grocery store. Loved the swimming area by the boat ramp! The house was very clean and well kept. I would love to return to this property.

Making Memories

Each year we look for an adventurous place to spend our family vacation. The Omega Retreat was absolutely wonderful and we had a great time making lots of cherished memories. The owners were so attentive to every detail and everything we needed was in place when we arrived. They went above and beyond with the pontoon boat rental which absolutely made a fun week on the river together. The home is beautiful and can accommodate a family of 8 adults and 2 children comfortably. I can’t say enough about how well things went and what an awesome time we had staying at the Omega Retreat!

Hidden Gem

This property is hidden away in the hills of Kentucky, right on Lake Cumberland. While you can’t see the lake from the house (due to trees), it is quite literally within walking distance. The pictures of this house don’t do it justice - it is amazing! You can easily sleep 12 (5 bedrooms plus two folding beds), and with two living areas, there was space for everyone. It is a lot bigger than it looks. It only rained one day, and we really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the rain hit the leaves. Very relaxing! There are also plenty of dvds, games, and a game table to keep you busy. We had to drive a little over an hour to do anything but go into Somerset, but we did find some adventures that were worth it: Cumberland Falls and Treetop Adventures (London, KY) were well worth the drive. There are also plenty of choices for white water rafting, boating, fishing and kayaking. Speaking of kayaking, the owner provided us with two kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets that we were able to take down to the nearby boat ramp. This was an unexpected treat! We had a terrific time kayaking down the pristine Cumberland River. It is calm and clear, and very relaxing. We had a fire in the fire pit provided (one on each deck, even!) a couple of different nights. It was remarkably low on bugs for such a forested area. The owner, David Miller, goes beyond expectations to make sure your stay is everything you want it be. He is quick to respond and take care of any issues you might have. Again, the house is perfect, and very well stocked. Probably the best we’ve ever stayed in. Great for large families or even a church retreat. We had a great time!

This property has everything you need and more! You can tell David and Laura prioritize the comfort of their guests. The house is spacious, beds are comfortable, toilet paper is good quality (not something you typically find in a rental). The furnishings are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need - appliances, pots, pans, dishes, spices, and much more. We stayed for a week and ate every meal at the house, with the exception of dinner one night. Our teens enjoyed the ping pong table, used the bicycles and the inner tubes and pool noodles. David checked in on us and answered questions and was very responsive and informative. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Christmas in KY

My family gathered for Christmas in KY this year. Our host Dave was amazing. We had everything we needed to celebrate. The house was decorated and the kitchen had every imaginable necessity to cook some big meals. To say the kitchen was well stocked is an understatement. Dave was personable and attentive and had great suggestions for dinner and Christmas Eve service. If we travel in the area again and need a big house for all of us we all agree we would stay there again. The surrounding area was great for hiking and exploring.

Fantastic family reunion!

We had a fantastic stay in this property. It was a great location and stunning in the fall.The tree colours and surroundings were breathtaking. The home was fully equipped with everything you could need and more. The beds were comfortable and the living area's and outdoor amenities were excellent. We had 6 adults staying for a family get-together and couldn't have wished for a nicer place to spend it. David was a excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Our hearts were full when we left. Would definitely stay here again.Thank you x
