"We really enjoyed our brief stay in the dog-friendly Ferienresidenz Brauneberger Hof. The small town is very quaint with a superb walking path alongside the Mosel River. Our very comfortable room had patio access to the back garden for our dogs. The shared eating area and kitchen were exceedingly well-equipped. Er zaten nog resten in de WC, in de kast van de pannen zat een groot spinnenweb de pannen in de keuken waren vuil.Verder zat er schimmel in het koffiezet apparaat. Kopjes die in de kast stonden daar zaten nog koffie resten op. Over het bedden goed was ook niet veel goeds over te zeggen . In de woonkamer was het ook niet veel beter. Schoonmaken was niet de grootste hobby van de eigenaar . Gaan hier ook nooit meer heen!!!"

"The hotel was wonderful. It was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The check in was contact-less, which was a bit confusing for me, but worked out well. Parking was a bit difficult as there are limited spaces in front of the hotel. There is additional parking down by the river but we did not realize this when first getting there. Once we figured it out it was not an issue. There is a kitchen available but no breakfast on site. You just have to bring your own food and cook for yourself. We walked to the bakery a few houses down and found wonderful breads and other things we needed. The only change I would recommend to their current operation is to add a breakfast option. There is enough seating for guests to enjoy a breakfast. Sadly the kitchen and dining area always seemed empty while we were there. Not many restaurant options nearby. But we enjoyed our stay there. "

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."
