Our location is ideal—minutes from downtown Sooke, with groceries, restaurants, food trucks, pubs, pharmacies, and other amenities nearby. We live on site and are happy to answer any questions to make your stay seamless and enjoyable.

Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from your private viewpoint café set, 500 feet above sea level, offering stunning views across 100 km. On clear nights, stargaze under soft blankets while listening to the soothing cascade of the property’s 6,000lb water feature.

The open-concept living and dining area comfortably seats four and includes a 65-inch flat-screen TV with soundbar, Firestick, Amazon Prime, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The rain-head shower delivers amazing water pressure for a luxurious start to your day.

Relax in the hot tub or unwind in the peaceful outdoor area. The suite now includes a private barrel sauna—ask about pricing or see if your stay qualifies for a free sauna! Fantastic location and accommodation!

Wonderful stay in Sooke. So many special touches. We loved the hot tub/sauna/cold shower experience and then sitting and enjoying the view with a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of wine at the end of the day. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property with many amenities. Sauna, hot tub, beautiful views, close to everything and so many little extras that made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely visit again!

Lovely stay. Everything was exactly as described! they even had games and snacks. It was rainy and foggy which only added to the beauty - our only suggestion is maybe adding a lamp in the living room because the overhead lights were pretty harsh.

Hard to beat

I’ve stayed in dozens of rental homes over the years and I can honestly say that Rebecca has done an extraordinary job of creating a welcoming, well-appointed, and an “all-questions-answered in a beautiful setting” kind of experience. Communication leading up to arrival was thorough and timely. The unit was as described only better. The little touches of welcome snacks and toiletries may seem like a little thing but it meant a lot. There was a miscommunication on my part about the number of people in our party and the hosts were super accommodating. Beautiful place with a great view convenient to town and very comfortable beds. Thumbs up all around.

Comfortable suite with a beautiful view

We stayed at Horizon Hideaway for one week at the beginning of July. The suite is very private, comfortable and well equipped (full kitchen, with good pots/pans/utensils, spices/oil) and with loads of little thoughtful touches (like snacks, enough coffee and tea to last us the week, blankets for cool nights on the two patios). There is a gorgeous view of the inlet and East Sooke from the patio, and we enjoyed our morning coffees and afternoon happy hours there! The hosts have really put a lot of thought into making the space welcoming and comfortable for their guests.

Very thoughtful attention to everything!

This is an extremely beautiful property - we had everything we needed, and more. There are beautiful views of the Sooke harbour and the nighttime sky, a sauna, and a hot tub. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into the creation of this home-away-from-home. We will definitely book again!

The Sooke Horizon Hideaway is a wonderful retreat, offering the comforts of home alongside a breathtaking mountain view.
