"Lovely, helpful staff.
We had a King Bungalow which was traditionally decorated with a beautiful timber ceiling. We arrived to a sweet surprise for our anniversary of chocolates and decorated bed with foliage & flowers.
There was a good breakfast with plenty of variety with a view over the pool area."
"Lovely relaxing stay, continental breakfast included. Enjoy snorkelling and the pool.
Somewhat limited menu but still very enjoyable.
Gorgeous sunsets and nice cocktails.
Lots to see around this end of the island, no restaurants other than the resort in this location"
"We had the most wonderful stay at Sinalei Reef & Spa Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, and the location is simply stunning.
We especially loved the rustic charm of the rooms and the fact there are no TVs, it was the perfect opportunity to switch off, disconnect from technology, and truly relax. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and would highly recommend Sinalei to anyone visiting Samoa!"
"We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our time. We deliberately wanted somewhere with no internet or TV to give our teenagers a break from screens and they didn’t complain at all. They played pool, card games and read books and we all snorkeled in the warm sea. The breakfast and dinners were varied so you didn’t always have the same meal and although I have coeliac disease they were able to cater for me too. The bathrooms, although shared, were always clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the fale was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the resort but would also recommend hiring a car if you want to visit any attractions or Apia itself. The only thing that surprised me is how loud the sea can be so if you are a light sleeper take some earplugs."
"A stunning resort with the friendliest, most kind and helpful staff. Beautiful basic rooms, lovely pool and grounds. In good weather, some great snorkelling but in bad weather and high trade winds, a difficult place to enjoy the ocean. Pays to have a hire car but the resort offers daily outings. Amazing menu and often have special events with special menus in the evenings. Also has a beautiful spa onsite but pays to book in advance as it books out fast in advance. Quite far from everywhere so best to plan to stay and relax with a few day trips out. We loved our stay, but personally prefer savaii with its white sand beaches, slower pace and incredible reef snorkelling and swimming. Might just be because we visited during a long period of rain and high winds though :)"
"We only stayed one night and unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to utilise the water activities. We thought our room was lovely with its cosy deck and overlooking the beach. We loved the seating areas set up for sunny weather and had the most delicious dinner with accompanying drinks. The owners and staff were very friendly, down to earth people who made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this magic spot as it was a great location to also access the Giant Clams and Coastal lava cliff walk.
The only thing to be aware of is that their sign cannot be seen if you are coming from the north, which we did, so we initially drove right past."
"It is a great place to spend your vacation. We would stay here again if we come to Samoa. However, one recommended improvement is to add mosquitos repellent devices to the rooms and restaurant"
"Simple accommodation literally on the beach. The fales allow privacy as required, with multiple 'walls' allowing height adjustment. This also works well for controlling the temperature of the room. Be aware there is no outlet for use in the fales (but apparently there were other locations you could use).
Bathroom facilities are rustic, but clean and well maintained/stocked.
Ear protection recommended - the surf is loud, and there is a road immediately behind the fales (albeit lightly travelled)."
"The staff were friendly on arrival but there was a mix up in rooms we were assigned to. We had to move within a couple of hours after we checked in but that was well taken care of. However, when we called to see if there was availability for the tennis courts we were told to come to the activities desk but I wasn’t sure where that was located so I went to reception who then called another staff member and told me to wait 5 minutes and they should be out to help me. We waited in the lobby area for 15 to 20 minutes and no one came so I went back to reception and the staff member had forgotten what I was waiting for. I asked him if someone was coming and he said for??? Then I said to use the tennis courts then he replied oh yes you need to go to the activities desk outside and asked him where it’s located. Pointed outside and we headed to the desk only to be told that the tennis courts were booked out for the day. Staff during the buffet breakfast were excellent especially Pesamino. Rooms were great and everything was clean and in good working condition. Overall would stay again"
