"Cute little hotel. Very clean. Very small room and tiny bathroom, but it did the trick for a few nights. Close to train station, restaurants, shops and shoreline. Owners (I assume) were very nice and helpful."

"Wir haben uns jeden Tag nach unseren Ausflügen auf die Ruhe in L'Escarène gefreut, besonders nach denen an die trubelige Côte Azur. Die schöne, große Terrasse mit dem wunderbaren Blick in die Berge lud zum Erholen ein.Der Ort ist praktisch gelegen, um Ausflüge an die Küste und in die Berge zu unternehmen. Er hat einen Supermarkt, einen Bäcker, eine Apotheke, mehrere Restaurants. Toll ist, dass ein Zug vom Ort direkt nach Nizza oder in die Berge fährt.Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war einfach, obwohl sie nur französisch spricht. Sie war sehr freundlich und hat uns immer wieder mit leckeren Dingen aus Küche und Garten überrascht.Die Betten waren sehr bequem.Nicht so glücklich waren wir über die Sauberkeit der Wohnung. Hier haben wir deutlich Besseres erwartet. So waren z.B. die Spülmaschine und der Kühlschrank in keinem guten Zustand. Auch mussten wir das Waschbecken im Bad und sämtliche Lichtschalter erst einmal säubern, um uns wohl zu fühlen. Das ist schade und hat uns das Ankommen erst einmal erschwert."

"We had an absolutely amazing time! The photos already say a lot, but in real life the place is even more beautiful.The pool was amazing, and we loved the big terrace and the beautiful, green and peaceful surroundings. The owners of the house were lovely and gave us all the privacy we needed.The house has two floors and two bathrooms, which made it perfect for four people. Everything was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.There is also a fantastic restaurant just a 5-minute walk away, which we would highly recommend as well!We would definitely love to come back!"

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié, la maison était conforme à la description et tout le nécessaire était présent, nous avons passé un agréable moment dans le grand jardin avec vue sur la montagne, le village de Berre les Alpes était très charmant, et nous avons aisément pu visiter les villes alentours et nous promener dans les nombreux sentiers de montagne qui sillonnent la région. Merci à Martine pour sa réactivité et sa gentillesse."

"We spent a truly magical week at the Bergerie! The location could not be better - close to Menton but really peaceful, with stunning views of the valley and the sea beyond. The garden and pool area is total paradise! Elisabeth was also very kind and helpful. It was the ideal base to explore the French and Italian Rivieras. We were very sad to leave and hope to return!"

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli et nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Castillon, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la région en famille avec nos deux enfants et notre chien. Nous recommandons cette petite maison au calme et bien située. Merci !"

"La maison est située dans les hauteurs de Menton, avec une belle vie plongeante sur la mer. Nous sommes venus une semaine en famille (2 grands enfants) et avons trouvé une maison très bien équipée (piscine, billard, babyfoot, équipement de cuisine, très belle salle de bain). Les espaces sont généreux et climatisés. Les 3 chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est très bonne. Nous avons récupéré les clés très facilement et la maison était très propre et ordonnée. Pascal et Valérie sont des hôtes très agréables, serviables et disponible.Une belle maison, à louer sans hésiter."

"Un grand merci à Hafid et Kristell pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour dans leur villa à Menton du 21 juin au 5 juillet 2026. Grâce à leurs bons conseils , leurs gentilles attentions et leur présence voisine discrète , ils nous ont rendu nos vacances très agréables.Le logement spacieux et très bien équipé avec la climatisation ainsi que la grande et belle piscine très bien entretenue ont été appréciés surtout en cette période de forte canicule !!L'abri extérieur pour les repas avec barbecue a été un plus pour des moments bien sympathiques.Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cette rencontre avec des hôtes de bonnes qualités humaines.Pierre PELLEREY et Pascale"
