I will just come out and say it, I was walking up the stairs to my room and a rat, not a mouse, a full sized rat ran down the stairs and right past my foot. When I got to the room I was literally shaking from being so startled. I told the woman at the reception window and she didn't seem bothered at all. Thank God I was only there for the day and decided to stay because I had a flight that evening and the place was cheap. If you want a cheap place with decent air conditioning, but don't mind rodents then enjoy. Not for me though.

the 9 day stay
The locatio of the hotel is great and the staff is welcoming. They also have good security.and hot water. The wifi was very weak and the toilet pressure is not too strong.

Slight Safety Concerns with the area
Okay place to stay but on the edge of the feel safe area of town. That corner where the hotel is located has a police safety camera recording the action. After 8 pm felt a little scary walking back to the hotel, going past a few unlit areas.

Plaza Europa review
Plaza Europa is very convenient and has everything you need. The staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew to security were always nice and helpful. In addition everyone from Ramona's restaurant made my stay very special whether it was during breakfast or having drinks and appetizers at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Young lady up front has no customer service, she was rude, disrespectful, and why do i have to pay extra if i have a guest never again. I will make sure no family and friends use this hotel for vaca 🖕

Great apartment, walking distance to everything
Great hotel. Nice location. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and food services. Nice pool. 2 bars on sight. Ideal for a solo traveler or couple. Outstanding affordability!!! Bang for your buck!!! 20 minutes walk to the beach.

Location, well maintained, no hassles. bed a bit hard though. Could have used an extra sheet, blanket, but suppose I caould have asked.
