"The staff were really friendly and helpful We always had a chat - not sure if that’s because we were the only Brits in Algiers and so might have been novelty value - but nevertheless they were brilliant. The location is excellent - right by the metro station However - be aware it is opposite a beautiful mosque - and so you will get the early call to prayers - and it is loud. ALSO - very positive - a taxi driver who does some work for them and lives virtually next door “Youcef Sabour”...

"Excellent stay at HNR Hotel El Hamma. The hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the stay. The rooms were spacious and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was varied and good quality. The location is also convenient for both business and leisure trips. Overall, a very good experience and I highly recommend this hotel."

"Très belle découverte. L'hôtel est neuf, moderne et très propre. Les chambres sont confortables et tout semble encore flambant neuf, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le point fort pour moi reste le personnel, toujours souriant, serviable et aux petits soins. On se sent rapidement le bienvenu et ça fait toute la différence. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé l'emplacement. "Decent hotel in a nice part of Algiers, plenty of character. The beds were very comfortable and the place was beautifully furnished, with lots of marble. The breakfast was adequate and tasty (excellent coffee!). The only slight weaknesses were on cleanliness (we had to ask them to replace the bath mat) and some items not being well-maintained, eg the phone didn't work and the shower head was leaking. Would return."

"Didn’t get shuttle for airport. Although in specifications the hotel mentioned that transportation to airport is included for free. Amat the end I rental one taxi to airport and I paid that from my pocket "

"Cet hôtel ne dispose pas de piscine incluse : il faut payer un supplément exorbitant de 6000 dinars par personne et par jour. Autant dire que la facture grimpe très vite. Le petit-déjeuner est catastrophique : pain sec, produits basiques, aucune spécialité locale… on se croirait plus dans une cantine que dans un hôtel. À cela s’ajoute le vacarme incessant des avions et de la discothèque voisine, rendant les nuits quasi impossibles. Le personnel à la réception se montre peu serviable et incapable...
