2 Cliff Guest House
Newly renovated, beautifully decorated, 2 bedroom home nestled on a cliff overlooking the Port of Souris. Watch the Magdalen Island ferry and the lobster boats leave the harbor from the front deck. The owner/ host has taken the care and time to add quality amenities such as a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a 4 burner propane stove, a dishwasher and a washer & dryer. Two queen beds dressed with 100% cotton sheets and bedding. Wi-Fi is included. Enjoy extras such as artisan soaps, a French coffee press, luxurious towels, beach towels, barbeque and a fully equipped kitchen.

Located in the heart of a tiny fishing village, Souris by the Sea, 2 Cliff Guest House is within walking distance to shopping (groceries), the historic Souris lighthouse and 21 Breakwater Restaurant/ Second Side bar. A 10 minute walk to Souris Beach known for its seaglass and Gateway Park with shops and a lobster/ seafood shack, playground and splash pad. Other well-known attractions close to Souris include: 50 beaches, Basin Head, Greenwich National Park, the Inn at Bay Fortune (Fireworks) and world class Brudenell/ Dundarave & Crowbush golf courses. Souris is well known for its Tuna and charter fishing. So many things to sea and enjoy!

The home was clean and we found it comfortable a good place to relax. It is a great location, we could see the harbour from the deck. Our host has been there if we needed anything. We have stayed here over the psst 2 years and plan to go again next year.

Great Little Spot

This is the perfect place for a few days away. The house is decorated beautifully. Lots of thoughtful details with the decor.The location overlooking the harbour and a little park kept us entertained for hours. The town of Souris is so pristine and well kept and the surrounding area stunningly gorgeous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and homey

Well renovated home decorated tastefully with a beach theme! Enjoyed this property very much. Kitchen and bathroom were well supplied, and our bed was comfortable. Our view of the lighthouse and harbour was beautiful! Thanks to our hosts!!

Perfect location for Souris!

The house is perfectly located for a stay in Souris, with much of the town available within walking distance and a great view of the ferry coming into and out of port each day. The house is perfectly equipped for your visit and very comfortable. We even saw a neighborly fox enjoying the waterfront park as well!

Harbor lights

We loved staying in Souris. The house was adorable and really well equipped. We were ahead of the season so a lot of stores and shops weren’t open but we liked it because there were no crowds. Thanks for the coffee, soap and jelly! Would love to live on PEI.

Wonderful gem in Souris

This spot was a lucky find! This lovely home was spotless and well-appointed. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Souris. The location is perfect- with wonderful spots to explore by car and by foot. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful- and we cannot say enough good things about our hosts, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. We hope to return to PEI some day, and would be eager to stay at this VRBO again…everything was simply perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. Melissa King and Scott Wallace

Relaxing in Souris

Cathy presents her property like it is: Perfect! We have enjoyed holidays in rental homes for many years and in many different places, but never have we ever stayed in a cottage that well stocked. Everything we could think of was available to us! It was so very pleasant. Our only comment was that we visited during a extremely hot period and the cottage does become overheated during the day, despite the fans! I don't think that temperatures in the 30+ are common in Souris so I would not be too concerned, but we could have used a bit of air conditionning during part of our holidays. The cottage is just lovely and what about the daily nature show when around 8h30 the foxes come out and play in the little park in front of the house?! Just wonderful. Thanks for a memory building stay! Francis

We had a wonderful stay at Cathy’s place in Souris! The property was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — peaceful and scenic, yet close to town and local attractions. Cathy was a warm and attentive host who made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting PEI.
Entering from the back door is the kitchen. New appliances and everything you would need to cook a meal.
Comfy lounger in the living room. Internet TV is included. Nice sunny room.

We absolutely loved this little home! The location, while a little far from Charlottetown, was perfect for our quiet, relaxing vacation. We were close to golf, there was a great little restaurant up the street, groceries in walking distance and a little park across the street. We could walk to the boardwalk within 10 min.The view of the harbour was unparalleled!The home had everything we needed and Cathy even provided a little 'welcome' gift. Very clean and lovely. Cosy to read on the front porch in the sunshine!

Not one disappointment about our stay. The pictures of the house do not show the warmth and attention to detail that Cathy has put into the home. The area was perfect and everything you need can be found in Souris. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time at this cottage! It had everything you’d ever need plus some nice extra like puzzles, colouring books, and streaming services. Even on rainy days the kids were entertained. The hosts were very attentive and made sure they were available if we had any questions at all. It was close to shops, playgrounds, and beaches. Highly recommend!

Cosy cottage setting

The experience was positive from booking to checkout. It was perfect for two couples. It was clean and well set up. The deck was fabulous with Adirondack chairs and comfy, colourful cushions on the other chairs. It overlooked the wharf, lighthouse and water! Highly recommend. Thanks Cathy.
