"The room was okay - very basic. The food in the tavern and dining room is extremely expensive for very small portions. The temp in the room was difficult to keep steady. It was quite cold each night. A lovely man came to the room to fix the issue, which he did. The fix didn’t stick, unfortunately. In general I’d give the place a grade of “fair.”"

"The scenery around the hotel is outstanding as the Grand Canyon overlook is right there. The bar is very small and hard to get a table. Property is clean and great staff. The restaurant is great. "

"Great location. Clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice bottle filing station in the hall. Recommend a second floor room (there are elevators). Ours was on the first floor and the noise from above was quite substantial."

"The national park was close by, as well as the visitor center, which next door. The staff was nice, although the restaurant staff was slightly rushing, however they still did a great job. The room is nice, however there is no fan in the bathroom, which can make it steam up easily when showering. "

"Our night in a Bright Angel Lodge duplex cabin with queen was very comfortable. Staying so near the Canyon rim allowed us to see the Canyon change as the daylight changed. The staff was friendly and communication concerning our reservation was excellent."

"Was staying one night so when we got there they explained we were going to be put into the “extended” building where it is nice for couples because it is all adults. We were put there because it was their oldest building. If you are going to stay at this hotel do not stay in room 405 unless you wake up very early and you are a smoker. In addition to the rooms just being old, the bathroom smelled like someone was sitting in there smoking the whole time we were there. Another thing they should tell you about this room is that you share a wall with the the area where they set up breakfast so be ready to get a wake up call around 5:00 for breakfast set up. Not sure if all of their rooms/buildings are the same way but this was easily the worst hotel stay we have ever had. We did complete their room review but haven’t heard anything. "
