"A really old pub in a remote part of the Tamar Valley AONB with lots of character. The meal that we had was excellent and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. The accommodation was also excellent and way above what we were expecting for a B&B attached to a pub. The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. "

"Our favourite place to stay on Dartmoor. The staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to accommodate every request. Rooms are always spotless and modern furnishings. Situated in the Dartmoor National Park it is the best location for exploring the outdoors. The food is delicious and homemade. Truly wonderful place to stay."

"My wife and I had an excellent and comfortable stay! We were greeted at the door and taken care of as we were shown to our room. Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a sea view which was very kind! Everything was brilliant, only slight issue was the lack of wifi & reception in our room (reception problem with the area, not the hotel itself). We didn’t end up trying any food though, but looked delicious. Thank you Orestone for accommodating us! "

"Booked The Cromwell Arms for a 3 night stay with my husband. I came down to Devon to visit my Dad who lives quite near so this place was ideal for us. On arrival this is a very quaint looking establishment and quite a few places at the rear for Free parking too. We booked in and shown to our room. We were both pleasantly surprised. "Fantastic friendly service. Big bedroom and bathroom, all very clean. The only slight criticisms would be that the curtains are white and very thin so the room was very light from 5:30am making it hard to sleep. There was also no mirror in the room however front desk staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to take the mirror hung in the corridor, I would recommend leaving that mirror in the room (Room 2). Overall an excellent two night stay."

"We have stopped overnight at the Tradesmans arms in Scorriton before and have not been disappointed. The location is isolated in a delightful small village with stunning views.
