    Inside, the home is bright and welcoming, with an open-concept layout that showcases the pond views throughout. The shiplap kitchen blends classic coastal charm with modern convenience, complete with a breakfast bar for four. Adjacent, the dining area seats eight and opens seamlessly to a comfortable family room, all offering serene water views.

    The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a private en suite bath with a tub/shower combination. Two additional bedrooms on this level (one with a queen and one with two twins) share a full bath with tub/shower combo. Charming property with lakefront views. Was not in the cleanest state when we arrived - lots of dust, cobwebs. The basement had a wet smell and the sliding glass door in the basement bedroom going outside to the back (lake side) was only partially covered due to missing or broken blinds. Did not have the best feeling of being safe and having privacy as a woman. Primary bedroom’s bathroom did not flush properly unless flushed multiple times with every use. On top of this, linens were not included and had to be rented separately. Also depending on the rental linen company, it falls on us to make and strip the beds… I’ve never heard of such a situation until booking this property!!!

Lovely Location near Cockle Cove

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a lovely spot with a beautiful view of Taylor's Pond and a short walk to Cockle Cove beach. Gorgeous sunsets over the pond! Our family has been coming to this area every year for a very long time, and this house checks many boxes for our group. We rented this particular home several times in the past from another realtor and this was our first time with Robert Paul. Overall, we are happy with the quick and pleasant response to a few issues we had with the BBQ and a lightbulb out in the fridge. A service person was there within hours. Communication was excellent. One word of caution about how the beds are described in the listing. In the second bedroom, it is NOT a queen - it is a VERY hard double bed (tight squeeze), and we didn't get the best sleep. One other note...we could not believe they still have the same awful "blinds" in the lower bedroom. There are four slats still hanging there and it is a ground level slider with NO privacy. This was an issue that was there when we rented prior and I am honestly shocked that such a simple and easy upgrade was not done when they touched up this house. If they made these two small changes this house would get 5 stars from us. I do hope to be back but will check on those suggestions before next summer.
