"The staff was very helpful especially the manager. Pool area and hot tub was nice and warm. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good with many choices. Area for breakfast clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our first stay in Pocatello area. Thx"

"The staff was very friendly, and the hotel makes a good first impression when you walk in—especially in the lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast itself was actually pretty good, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the room was a completely different story. It felt run down and not very clean. There were visible splatters on the floors and walls, dust on surfaces like the tissue box cover, hair on the floor and stuck along the bathroom door trim all the way up. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and even the pool had mold and water damage..ceiling looked like it was gonna cave in. Seems like housekeeping is only doing the bare minimum—changing sheets, replacing towels, and restocking supplies—but not actually cleaning mopping or wiping things down. There was noticeable dust on the lights, table, and headboard. On top of that, the walls are extremely thin. We could hear every door opening and closing, and there was constant noise from the room above us—loud stomping from around 11:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. both nights. We were in town for a soccer tournament with early 7:30 a.m. games, so running on little to no sleep made the stay even more frustrating. To add to it, checkout is listed as noon, but our keys stopped working at 11:54 a.m. while we were still bringing items to the car, leaving us locked out of our room. Overall, while the staff and breakfast were positives, the cleanliness, condition of the room, and noise level made this stay disappointing—especially for the price. "

"At check in, reception was rude, not very informative. I went to ask for to tails and stood in line, she completely ignored me and helped the next person in line, I waited patiently, and she called the next person in line knowing i was just standing there, so I took initiative and said, ma'm, you know I was next in line you checked in the person behind me. I simply needed towels. She was rude the whole stay. I don't think there should be workers like that if they don't like their job they should stay at home and look for a different job that suits them. We come to enjoy our stay and its workers like that, that make it a horrible experience and never want to come back. Elevators were broken. Very inconvenient for a tournament stay. We should be kind to one another and workers should be exceeding customers expectations!"

"The hotel has seen better days. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and clean. But the carpets in the stairwells haven’t been vacuumed in days at least. The hard water stains in the toilets are distinctly black. The bedroom hardfloor hadn’t been swept recently, leaving dust bunnies and such for my feet to find. And sadly, we were not informed that the pool was under maintenance when we booked online. Rather disappointing. Safe and reasonably priced, but definitely could use some extra cleaning care."

"The staff was so wonderful - especially to all the kids staying there for the soccer tournament. The breakfasts are incredible! I wish I would have booked directly with the hotel because Expedia was awful to work with in changing dates. BOOK WITH HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR SURE!"

"Room smelled like a urinal and the floors were sticky. Building is in rough shape. Would not stay there again."
