"The property is a bit dated and damp. Our floors and sheets always seemed to be wet. Maintenance came immediately to troubleshoot the dehumidifier and it worked well for one day. The staff was super friendly and helpful though. Restaurant was good and the bar always had specials."

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. My family and I love this property! The staff are amazing and so kind and helpful. The property is spotless, they are always cleaning. The pool is gorgeous and clean. We will absolutely be booking this location for our trip next year! From March till October there are fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights at Claytons and they can be seen from the balcony of your room. The whole family loves it! The view, the pool, the beach and the bar, the Courtyard has it all!"

"I booked my stay with hotels.com for a suite when I was ready to check in I was told the actual hotel overbooked and gave away my already paid in full room. That because I booked with a 3rd party I would just get whatever was available. I had planned for a suit for my stay and had to change everything due to this. Was told I could cancel if I wanted too but that's it. Very unsatisfied with this experience."

"we stayed with our pet and rented 2 rooms for ourselves and our son and his wife , both rooms were clean well maintained and the staff was very helpful. the pool area was clean and also well maintained . the breakfast room was well laid out and the cooks did an excellent job on our omlets ! , the boardwalk was easy to walk with no broken rails or loose boards we really enjoyed our stay and will use this property again !"
